I must admit though im more of a road feel and driving response guy than off roader...damm im really upset but i may trade my lmtd in for the pathy..ahh ill think it over this weekend....

I have owned 4 Nissans over the years and traded a 2006 Nissan Titan LE (top of the line Titan) for my 2010 Limited. I owned the Titan for 4 years and 55,000 miles with only a couple minor issues other than the quality issues. Some of the quality issues I saw: 1) Leather did not cover all the seat cushion and the vinyl portions had wear issues (holes wearing through the material). 2) Interior trim was really poor quality (many wear marks/scratches) 3) "Clear" plastic covering gear selection indicator "fogged" and you could not read which gear the tranny was in. 4) Transmission felt as if it "slipped" on occassion from day one...it also "clunked" from time to time. 5) Exterior trim around the sliding rear window fell apart after 2 years and I'm sure some water leaked down into the area behind the back seat because of this issue. 6) The storage box built into the rear fender leaked and everything inside rusted and had mildew on it. 7) A lot of black plastic exterior trim which constantly needed an application of protectant to keep it from turning gray....I could probably think of more issues, but the bottom line is as long as Toyota builds a vehicle that fits my current needs I won't buy another Nissan!

yes this i know for sure...but im speaking of pure truck feel and engine enjoyment the PF is more responsive imo

That, brother, is fo' sho'. Nissan does something right with their V6.
Coming from a PF, I thought something was wrong with the first 4R I drove.
One can say that statistics don't lie, but a PF sure does feel the more powerful of the two.

You wanna drive something that rocks? Drive a PF with Nissan's V8. Wowser. I wanted it, but it's only in the topline and just too much $$.

Having said all that, I am certain that the 4R is much the better vehicle.

Nissan does make a damn fine engine. The 3.5L in my dad's old Altima SE-R was awesome, moved that thing quickly for a midsize sedan. Mated to a 6-speed manual, with the SE-R's exhaust + ECU retune, it was awesome. Factory rated at 260hp @ the crank, felt quicker than that, almost as quick as the STI that replaced it. Almost. Plus on the highway it could crank out way over 30mpg. Gotta love that VQ35DE engine.

Same thing holds true in my mom's car, the G37x coupe (and the G35x sedan that came before that). Another great car/engine. Honestly I'm surprised I haven't gotten in any trouble driving that car yet.... you put your foot down a little when leaving a stoplight and you're doing 60 or 70km/h in the blink of an eye.

I was a Nissan salesman for 6 years. I do agree with most of u that the VQ series Nissan V6 does have some punch! It "feels" like it has a lot more get up and go then the new 4runners. I owned a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder with a voliant CAI. I actually lined it up with my friends 2011 4runner on a open and level highway. My pathfinder use to dust the older generation 4runners all day long (09' and below). But the new generation runners are awesome! I was surprised that my friend and i was going down the highway looking at each other! Nobody inched away. And his runner was stock! The pathfinder does handle the turn better maybe due to it's 4 wheel independent suspension. But that's not to good in the off road department. But the thing i really hated about the pathfinder was the piss poor rear springs! It always bottoms out when u put load inn the rear. I took it off to add the 2.5" lift and i was surprised to see that it looks like an oversized Honda accord spring.

I went down to the dealer to inquire about the tranny blowing due to the coolant leaking into it. They told me it's an easy fix, just add an external tranny cooler. I was like F'dat! More money i have to dish out! So guess what, i traded in the pathfinder for a 2011 SR5 runner.

haha. dammit. i fixed it. lol. I feel like if he really wanted to compare the pathfinder with a 4runner he needs to spend more time. Clearly, he is biased. but, good or bad, spend some time and do it right. Instead of a worthless video.
