I have no clue if mine leans because I am never on level ground. I guess I could go out to the airport because it is the only level ground around here.

You wouldn't waste your time because even if there was a lean so what? Tilt your head the other direction and bam, fixed!

I think you need to do an analysis to see if those who complain most about the lean to the left are from red or blue states.

My first and primary concern is to make sure they put the springs on the right side when installing the shocks. Got the part numbers from the dealer for my VIN, but he said there was no color code to go with it unfortunately. Any ideas?

I would measure your front lean. If it is 3/4" or more, swap the springs around or get some new ones. If it is less than 3/4", use the toytec 1/4" spacer on the driver side.

Mine is so bad my left rear tire isn't even on the ground most of the time. :jaw:

If I recall the drivers side spring was a bit thicker than the passenger side. I don't recall the colors but go look under an sr5 or limited (whichever you have) at the dealership to determine the color codes. I'd think someone with a stock 4Runner could peek under theirs but I haven't seen anyone confirm the color codes for you yet...

The driver spring is more substantial than the passenger spring in the front. I'm fairly certain the rears l/r are identical.

What exactly do you man by thicker and more substantial? See pics below I took a while ago.

So I can tell you that when I park when I turn Left into my driveway versus right my lean is more pronounced. The minute I get in and start driving the lean is non existent (Trail Edition w/kdss with a pure spacer lift atm). So I've only added equal spacers between stock to lift for now which still put a lean, but doesn't bother me because its fine when i'm in and running!

white/green and white/red has the 9 coils. and as best I can tell, white/red was driver.

Hmmm, well, the white/red is on my passenger side. And if it has more turns, then they put it on the wrong side. Hope they don't try to charge me to fix it. Probably have to get realigned then too.

hopefully someone with the original stuff in place can confirm for you but if the shop did it backwards - def have them fix and realign it.

Really hoping someone can prove for me that the white/red should be on drivers side. Went underneath to take another look and snap a couple more shots. From what I counted, seems like the white/red spring has one more wrap on it.

So..., when members say KDSS lean, it is really a coil issue now? Interesting as to the coil wraps/codes.

I should state that I have a 4x2 and not 4x4. Also, going to dealer doesn't really help me cause I've spent a lot of tone looking this morning at inventories and can't find a 2014.

Really need the help of this forum.

My shocks were replaced one at a time, so the springs never had the remote possibility of being swapped from one side to the other. More coils on pass side.
Drivers side: White / Green paint
Pass side: White / Orange paint

Hmmm, see, this goes against what everyone else is saying that more coils should be on drivers side.
