Well now that I have completed another college semester its time for me to install all the mods that I had to put off. I just finished one of them and its a NST intake manifold spacer. After this I'm slapping on 2nd gen 1grfe long tube headers and a full set of NST pulleys.

Well heres some pics from the XRU mod and meet! And of course the fuel pump install which was a first! Its always fun hanging out meeting new friends, moding trucks, and going to car shows! I'm just loving the new filtration and flow!

Well I got a couple of new mods in but I've only installed one about a few minutes ago. I'm just loving my new grill! The new grill also feels lighter than the chrome one. I'll keep ya posted the next following weeks as I install more mods!

APR and URD are always good company! I'll have to drop my truck off when I get my valve body modified. about 3-4 days down time At least by the end of this week I'll be the running the F3 tune (hot) on my X1!!

My headers are finally HERE!!!! F3 time! The FJ is what Gadget showed off to me at my house. Its running the MK3 stage1 supercharger system. Even with 35's and a big lift and bumpers it hauls. It was fun driving this thing. I was also at the beach this week with my friends and took some pics, enjoy.

My long tubes have been in since the 19th but I've now had some time to take a pic. Up next will be a custom exhaust (both y pipe and catback) from APR is in the works for more power. I'm also in the hunt for BOOST!

So I went to APR to install a X1 in a buddies truck where we're talking about fabing up a custom exhaust both the Y pipe and the catback. I also did the throttle body coolant by pass mod, gotta love freebies. Anyway I also saw a custom set of longs tubes for the 1GRFE on the APR truck. Right now APR is developing a compound boost set up for xrunners or a single turbo without the TRD charger.

so what did you gain by installing the NST intake manifold spacer?

A little more low end torque, but more importantly it moved the torque curve so you get more power at the lower RPMs without affecting the top end. Alot of X's are getting better mpgs as well.

I think this is what you want bro. The truck was basically stock. I kinda changed my tune to compensate for the increased air volume and have had nice benefits, both power wise and MPG wise when I back off the throttle. My buddie with a turbocharged Taco is also seeing nice major gains with the spacer. Others are either running the factory tune with the spacer and some other mods or have a MAF cal or a Mapecu2 running their tune. There is two Xrunners that I know that are running a URD MK1 and MK2 supercharger with the spacer and show nice gains as well. They will show more gains as they have boost. It won't work with the TRD supercharger, just FYI. All in all it is a nice mod and I would recommend it. Its not like those throttle body spacers.

Went to the Royal Purple raceway yesterday with a few friends. I have a new personal best. A 14.5! My exhaust work it almost done, Y pipe is finished waiting on V bands and a few other stuff and gonna work on my catback. I've also got a couple of big things in the works and can't tell you how excited I am about it. More pics and vids are coming soon from friday.

Just got back from texfest, had a blast here are some pics.

To respond to the pm's I've been getting lately I will be updating my build, which took some searching for it on my end. Did my gauge cluster in blue to match my autometer cobalt gauges.

Took the running boards off to save some weight, 30 pounds tops.

Upgraded the brakes by running stoptech ss lines and carbotech XP12 pads.

Installed poly bushings in the lateral control arm, I'm still waiting to install the ones for the control arms.

At the same time I also installed my addco front and rear sway bars, as well as my TRD shocks.

Latest mods include several go fast goodies.
And my APR fuel rails with my ID 1000's, I'm still waiting for my FPR and misc fuel fittings.


The plan for this summer is that the valve body will be sent out to IPT, get more NST pulleys, send out my drive shaft to DSS for a light weight one, fix my blown sound system, get a trutrack lsd, and might go get a full stand alone I'm eyeing Pro efi 128 or get a Motec ems.

So now that I have some time I can update this a little. Mostly the truck remains the same. I have a URD Y pipe coming and I put a good bit of money towards a new EMS, my Pro EFI 128. I have already received my ID 1000 injectors, I'm now just waiting on my FPR and misc fittings so I can try and dial them in. Its the first step in my front mount turbo build. The turbo I will be using is a precision 6266 turbo. Anyway recently I raced at MSR houston and not only did I have a great time, I was posting laps faster than most during the day, in a V6 suv. Yes minds were blown. Another great accomplishment for me is that I have found my "home" track to continue to race on and hopefully improve my skills.
