So, I sold all my really good stuff (Dyns, ARC amps, IDMAX) but decided I was going to do an install in the T4R after all.

this is my Spare-Parts install.

Using:
Factory Head Unit > Navone RHL-2CH line level adapter.
MiniDSP 2x4 will run to the Alpine PDX 4.150, which will then power Focal 165W up front, and a pair of ARC 8s in the back.

Focal tweeters in dash location. The mount is 1/4" MDF wrapped in Ensolite.
I can tell just by looking that this is going to be a problem.
> Focal tweeters pointed at glass, ouch.
> Focal tweeters in a spot with lots of nasty reflections before it even passes through the grill, double ouch.
* Plan? I may buy secondary tweeter covers (Probably $200 because they are toyota parts) and cut them open, creating a "dish" that allows the tweeters to sit on top, not under any grills.
* For now, I'll use thin open cell foam inside the factory tweeter cutout to help absorb reflections.
* Waiting on delivery of a dashmat to help break up the harshness a bit.

Plan: Use very little BXTII in critial areas, avoiding the surface of the inner door panel (to retain factory appearance, avoid a mess)
Use Ensolite in required areas.

Installed the entirety of my damping mat. Decided to order 40sqft since this isn't enough to do anything.

I have diffusion pads, but I couldn't get them past the impact bar, so I just used the ensolite.
