Thoughts on Running a 2.0" Pulley on Supercharger?

I read some threads over on customtaco.com but didn't find a very definitive answer. What are thoughts on the 2.0" pulley? Either the URD one or the Pulleyboy's one. TRD High Performance Supercharger Pulleys

I will be running methanol by then so I'll have extra fuel plus heat reduction pre and post-supercharger. A dyno I found shows 15 RWHP gain over the 2.1". Worth trying to get and tune? Or too risky in damaging the supercharger?

I thought I read in the master SC thread the m62 is rated for 15 PSI...
If you want to push 13-14..15psi and have the most powerful / fastest supercharged 3rd gen....yes!

I'll put it to you like this: I recently swapped out my 2.1" for a 2.3" and it's noticeably quieter and slower. No fuel mods yet. High elevation.

Do it!! Then you will get full benefit of that meth injection. It will run super safe. I have never seen anything detonate on meth injection until running major boost, compression and timing.

That's what I was thinking, since the major benefit of meth is lower temperatures and higher octane, no so much just adding more fuel to lower AFR's. But I've never owned a boosted engine before this 4Runner so I'm rather new at all this.

And I just sold some more parts so I've got about $300 burning a hole in my pocket Also thinking about doing the valve body upgrade for a little more kick from my transmission too.

If you do go this route and not running anything to tune I would really look into a WBO2 and gauge so you can watch AFR's. Im sure you would be fine, worst case it will just run rich and still be safe.

For the URD pulley's they talk about belt slippage being a big deal. Is this really a valid concern? If so, wouldn't this smaller pulley be worse?

Yes, also part of why I'm asking about it. 2.1" pulley folks can chime in here too. I've only had belt slippage when I was stupid enough to get oil on the belt.

Reviving an old conversation! I now have methanol injection and the 2.1" pulley, but might be adding more fuel and a piggyback controller.

Also, the installation of headers has reduced my boost pressure (but not power), so instead of about 10.5 PSI on the 2.1", I've dropped to about 9.5 PSI. The 2.0" is rated to run at 13.5 PSI, so for me that's be more like 12.5 PSI.

Open to thoughts or experience anyone might have.

I'm running 2.0 at 900 ft. 7th Injector 10% fuel added and enrichment sooner.

How was the header install? I've got a set of trd siting on my bench just waiting. Not sure if I want to tackle the job.

Is it a mythical URD pulley or from another company? I found someone else who posted up saying that the Pulleyboys 2.0" one doesn't fit right without modification. Also, does it slip at all?

The sad thing is that Doug Thorleys are supposed to be easier to install than the TRD ones. Also if you have a body lift, it makes it even harder because of clearance issues.

I'm running a pulleyboys 2.O and love it. I have not had any belt slippage. I love it and this is what it does at 2200 ft elevation

I'm doing it. Going to get a professional tune done so I don't do anything stupid but 12 PSI here I come!
