tinted windows

Another question. Whats everyones thoughts on getting toyota to factory tint the windows. When I looked at them, they are not very dark, meaning anyone can see whats in the back. If I can get a custom 4runner ordered, does toyota have a dark tint to pick from. or would it be best to order without tint and just go to local place. Just think the factory would last longer, but just sux that it is not very dark.

Um.. I'm pretty sure that windows would be tinted by a 3rd party when dealership receives the truck.
My tint guy gets that kind of jobs all the time.

I don't think the dealer would put anything darker than 35% on a car from the lot, but that's just a guess.

I would just take it to a shop after you get it. It will be cheaper and last just as long.

my custom ordered TE is getting aftermarket tint thru the dealership. 35% in front and 20% in back
