Tire Blow-out. Need a little help

Hello,

This summer I had a tire blow-out ripping the tread off the tire and damaging the inner passenger fender. All the black plastic fender pieces were ripped off. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a part is missing from the end of the air intake which is located inside the fender. There are also two wires that come through the fender and connect to the part at the end of the air intake.

Does anyone know the name of the part?
