Ill be attending the 22nd Annual Toyotafest and will be in the New Venue section. Just wanted to throw it out there if anyone else wanted to go and hang out. I havent been to this one before But when I did it for Mitsubishi Owner Day and Subie Fest they were a lot of fun. Details below

Where: Marina Green Park in Long Beach, California,
When: May 6, 2017 from 9AM - 3PM

Shit, completely forgot about this. I was planning on going... but we'll be beach camping in Carlsbad that weekend.
 
I should be there for a little while with my two daughters tagging along. I'll look out for your rig, Ryan! Will your 4Runner be judged in a class or just exhibiting?
 
nothing but RV parks unless you want to find a spot to camp along the grapevine on your way down.

Bolsa Chica State Beach ...and your 20 mins away. Camping and a beach sunset ..
It's where HB and Sunset Beach meet there's fire pits, restrooms, showers etc

You can call ahead and make a reservation you don't have to have a state beach pass although it would be cheaper or you can just roll in and pay at the maned ranger booth as you drive in and if you show up and nobody is there at the booth then you just roll in and get a spot. But you will still have to pay cause what they do is lock the gates except for one at the end I believe (for emergencies of course) but they make there rounds in the morning if they don't see you receipt/ camping tag in your window and you pay then. But I also think they have an automated pay machine now, but not sure. And the only camping areas are lifeguard tower parking lots 16,17,18 and maybe 19 which are all at the most southern end of the beach.
