TRD Intake in 2011 Accessories Catalog

Ya I was at the dealer about a week and a half ago and asked the parts desk the same question about the TRD CAI. He had absolutely no info for me....

I did get an email from AFE a couple weeks ago that said they expected to relase their CAI around the end of the year. I'm pretty sure Harper7 got the same info from AFE as well, and since numerous members have stated that AFE actually makes the TRD intake, I guess the realease of the TRD CAI is about on schedule. I'm looking forward to it as well...

Oddly enough, I went into Toyota of Lake City and the two guys behind the counter spent a good 45 minutes trying to track down part numbers and prices on the wheels and CAI.

Here is what I found out: There are no part numbers for the wheels. There is a part # for the CAI under the 2010 MY, not the 2011, but no prices or inventory levels are available. The 2009 CAI has a "Do Not Sell" code placed on it.

They put a call into to "Toyota" but if there is anything less reliable than a car salesman it is a peon working for "Toyota" so I will not hold my breath while they wait for a response.

I didn't bother to get it since it wasn't possible to order it. Sorry.

I checked in on the TRD intake while I was in for service today. The part number I got for the 2010 CAI is PTR03-89100. Thats all the info I could dig up.

I just googled the part number and it led me to the 2010 FJC TRD CAI. I know both engines are the same so I guess it would make sense to have the same part number:shrug:

I talked to my local dealership parts department yesterday while in for service, had them call and was told the intake should be available soon but no further information available. There was no 5th gen part number available.
