Looking good! Do Thu happen to have the measurement? I got the whole 2" kit, debating on if I should used the same part to just level it until I get new tires in the future.

That looks great, my kit arrived Thursday after I got my new wheels on I was on the fence on weather or not I was going to do it. Your pic may have sealed the deal for me to proceed. How did it effect the ride quality?

Thanks! No effect on the ride quality. One thing i noticed after the lift is nose dive when braking was reduced.

Man, this is closer to level than I thought. Was thinking I'd see 1/4 difference. In the first pic of the Inferno, it looks reverse raked to me. Now I'm back on the fence.

The TRD PRO should have sat like this from the factory. Without the Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers and 3/4 toytec front spacer.

That looks like a Rola rack on your 5th Gen; how'd you mount it to the rack? Is it just on the crossbars?

I just called Toytec tech support and asked about the 1" coil perch lift vs the 3/4" top spacer lift and he (Justin) recommended the 1" all the way. Said it wouldn't reverse rake the truck. Said the 3/4 really works out to about 1/2".

I'm going to order the 1" and see.

Thanks man....They are 275 K02's. I wish I would have gone with 285's, & I will soon!

How high do those tires stand from floor to top of tire as the truck sits there? Keep hearing how KO2's run a bit small, so curious how they compare to my stock 265 Cooper AT3s.

I think your truck looks good, many with the same lift look a little bit more raked than yours.

Yeah it bolts directly to the cross bars but since I lifted it I had to remove it so I can fit in my garage. :cheers:

[MENTION=148378]Dobinsons Mike[/MENTION] is in the works of determining what different coils can be used with the stock TRD struts. Giving desired lift, without having to sacrifice the entire suspension you paid for. Just another option.

Do you guys think 285/70/17 KO2s would work with the 1" Toytec up front? Seems as though we have established that the 275s are golden even at stock height...just seeing if we can squeeze some more out of the setup.

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying so I'm going to try to respond to both ways I'm reading this. Obviously all lifts are somewhat variable in the amount they raise the vehicle depending on the static load on the springs (bumpers, winches, rear cargo, etc.). However, 20 gallons of gas weighs approx 125 lbs which isn't a lot of weight in the grand scheme of things. I would not expect an inch difference in the lift based solely on a full tank of gas: think about having a fairly small adult female in the cargo area and that alone making a 1" difference in rear lift on a 5000 lb vehicle. It just shouldn't happen.

I was curious about this yesterday, so measured before/after getting gas. Was at 1/4-tank for the initial measurement, and full tank for second. Both front and rear of the left side went down 1/8" after filling up; right side was close enough to the same to not be able to call it. (this is on a KDSS-equipped full TRD suspension build)

It seems like the Bilstein suspension on the Pro is the 5160 / 6112 combo set to the lowest setting (?). Seeing as the Toytec kit replaces the rear springs resulting in a ~2" lift, would it be possible to also simply change the springs on the coilovers to lift the front rather than put spacers on? I'm much more interested in a proper suspension lift than spacers that preload the COs.

So, I hear this line of thinking a lot, and I always think "well, the Bilstein 5100's adjustment occurs via increasing the pre-load on the spring, so what's the real difference?" (at least for the ToyTec's 1" spring seat replacement). I can see how there would be a functional difference for the upper 1/2"-inch spacer in ToyTec's setup, and the TRD shock probably has less of a range of adjustment due to the coil being 1" shorter (I believe).

I dunno, all this stuff is so hazy when the same identical lift gives different results on different vehicles. I'm looking for a moderate lift, but I sure don't want the rake back that I paid to get rid of with the TRD suspension...

I've been running my pro with just the 1" botttom spring perch for awhile now. It levels out the rig, doesn't cause a reverse rake as long as the rear isn't heavily loaded, and I have had no decernable difference in ride quality on or off road. Here's a shot right after install and then another couple of shots after I put on 275 KO2s

Sorry to use your image as an example, but it's one of the straighter-on views I've seen...

I've always thought that if you create the exact same amount of space in the fender wells, that the vehicle looks a bit reverse-raked. I leveled your image to the bottom of the tires, and then drew lines to the various 'lines' of the vehicle. Just my personal opinion, but when my eye gauges rake, it seems to gravitate toward the longest straight line of the vehicle, i.e. between the two wheels where the running boards are installed. Anyway, based upon this particular line, the truck looks like it's got a slight reverse-rake. I think the running boards being perfectly level is a sort of 'natural' litmus test, but everyone's mileage likely varies on what they consider 'level'.

Did my lift yesterday. It's basically the TRD Pro Toytec lift but with Icon 2" rear springs that were gifted to me by a friend on here. So I only bought the front components. I have no more than 2" rake. Pretty much same as factory when I did the before and after measurements. The rear feels way more stable though with the new springs. I'm pretty happy with it but I think I'll go with 275s next. I already have the spidertrax spacers and I have no rubbing at all with the stock tires. We'll see with 275s but i already pushed the fender liner forward. Anyway here you go. Comment away.

Did this a couple months back. This was taken the following day. I do believe it has settled a little bit since. I did ¾" toytec spacer up front and OME 898's for the rear. Definitely a stiffer ride but does not sag or come down hard on the trail with a full load and a full tank now. Tires are next to fill it out.

I think so, with no spacers and you will have to mod you mud flaps. I didn't like the heat gun trick and went with half flaps.

What size tire you gonna get to fill up that rear wheel well? You might want to check into a rear bumper, while you're at it... (EDIT: a bigger, heavier one)

Haha bumper is heavy enough. I'm looking at 285/70's at least.
