Trd pro lift question

Finally got the lift/tires/etc on my truck. Setup is Toytec TRD Pro 2" lift plus OE FJPro springs up front, Icon Delta Joint ucas, BFG K02 285/70/17 C-load. No rubbing. I do have some added weight up front with the SDHQ hidden winch mount.

How much total higher than stock are you? 2" with the Toytec lift plus another 1" with the springs, and another 0.5" with the 285's? That looks perfect to me, but I still need to fit in my garage which is 6'8". I have a stock TRD Pro in Cavalry blue with the Gobi stealth rack which is I think around 6'5" currently.

Currently I am around 6'2-6'3" without the rack when entering my garage.

I'm not sure. I'll have to measure the height. It does fit in my garage though (think I have a pretty tall door).

Are you on stock UCA's? How were your caster numbers, asking for a friend that isn't about that forum life
also what rear springs are you running?

Caster is about 3.6-3.7*. I have Icon Delta Joint UCAs. Rear springs are Toytec Superflex 2".

After reading this thread all along and seeing your setup it definitely made the most sense. Original Toyota parts plus some taller springs and the perch/top hat seems to work just about perfectly. I would guess that the front would sit higher sans winch/winch mount. I think if you have a taller garage door opening (as I do) you'll be fine. Appreciate your answering my questions a few months back!

Yeah I have about the same caster numbers with my delta joints as well, That's about a ~3.5"-4" lift , I'm at 23.5" fender to hub but you have a pro fender so it may vary slightly.

And I am thinking that falls in line with my thoughts of it adding about 6" of height from what I expect is about 6'-2" from an extremely rough height measurement while on level ground.

Most parking garages I enter are around 6'-10" height clearance including my home garage.

For the TRD Pro suspension, whats the tallest lift spring you can use in the rear?

I ask because I have the Toytec 2 inch lift with the superflex 2inch springs. With my base setup (full roof rack, sliders, skids, toolbox in back), it sits perfectly level. However, any additional weight and I get a negative rake.

I would be OK with a little rake with my normal set up if it keeps it more level when loaded up (gear, hitch rack or wilco tire carrier).

Thinking Toytec HD 2.5 inch springs or Icon overland 3 inch springs (or open to other suggestions). Will these work with the Pro bilsteins?

Hey, yes, that's actually a 2.25/2 kit. Yes, can do that kit also, on the website, choose the 2/1.5 kit, and in the notes box at the final stage of checkout, put in, custom 2.25/2 kit. Will do for same price.

Burtman Industries 5th gen lifts for sr5, trd pro, etc.

That's likely going to cause massive rubbing. I can tell you a 295/70/17 fits fine on a 17x8 wheel with 0 offset. You're likely going to need a lot more than a BMC if it works at all. Are you talking -38mm or +38mm offset?

-38 I'm sure but you may also want to have your caster set to over +4.0, I hope you have aftermarket UCAs. 4.3 to 4.2 ideally, that worked well with a buddy of mine that has the exact same wheels. He has the SSO high clearance with adjustable icons sitting at 24" hub to fender.

I will be running Dobinson's UCA's with the SSO Stage 2 Clearance ready to be installed soon. If 295/70/17's don't work, it's not a big deal... do you think the 285/70/17's I currently run on the TRD PRO wheels will work with the SCS F5's (17x9 -38)?

Have you considered the Eibach Pro Truck Lift Kit (Stage 1)? It give you 2.75” up front and 1” in the rear. It looks great and is very functional. I say check them out, for the money, you cant go wrong.

Oh yeah, the BMC will be performed by my shop when I get my suspension installed for sure. I hope it works out!
