04 sport xreas has leak

old plan:

keep xreas go with 3/2 cornfed 285/70/17

New plan:

replace xreas with fj suspension- dealer quote to remove xreas and replace with my parts $600???

QUESTION?

Can i still do the cornfed 3/2 or is this to high with the fj suspension

Done a lot of reading on options with and with out xreas..Still hard to know or decide on best option

What would you guys do?

Just spend the extra $400 on a suspension lift from Radflo, OME, or any other maker.

You gain just as much clearance and are not limiting the suspension travel as a spacer lift will do. Also if you plan on adding an aftermarket bumper or winch or both, a coilover will be better setup to handle the extra weight vs stock (FJ or not) springs and shocks.

Ive had a similar dilemma and was going to go with Cornfed and XREAS, but tires I have still have life left in them and XREAS still operates (05 SE w/60k miles). I'm going to wait until tires need replacing and do the coilover lift at the same time and ditch XREAS.

so I would be in 800 bucks by ditching xreas and replacing with fj suspension....

with no lift yet OUCH!

Have not even looked into a full suspension lift with prices...

FJ stuff will work with 3/2 a lot have that setup. Where are you in GA? If your close to TN, come on up I will do it for $300 ;-)

what I am saying is..:)

Should I just go for the toy ultimate lift that replaces everything rather than getting fj stuff and getting spacer kit... just did the numbers

toytch is 1100 not sure about install price though

i would be in 1000 with fj susp parts and cornfed 3/2

I hey i would travel for install..Road trip..:)

install will be the same, your taking stuff out and putting stuff in.

So looks to me like:
FJ stuff $150 + Cornfed 3/2 $140 + install $600 = $890

Toytech $1100 + $600 = $1700

You can find a cheaper install than $600 for sure

What tires do you want to run? Are you going to off road alot or not much at all?

some off roading.. Here and there....nothing serious

cornfed 3/2 is 240 talking with jason yesterday

Not to many shops are wanting to deal with xreas removal....so i got quote from dealer just to install fj suspension and remove xreas.
600
And I would like to have all the work done at the same place
- remove xreas
-install fj suspension
-install 3/2
- Havnt gotten a price from a single shop yet to do all the work

want to do 33's // 285/70/17 all terrains

i am willing to do the suspension to get better suspension performance if its with in 300 or 400 of eachother
