Ultimate camping mod- rear window up / down and hatch pop with ignition off!

A few people have asked about shipping times with the holidays. I have noticed packages taking a little longer but as I understand, USPS is able to deliver by Christmas for priority packages if placed in mail by the 19th. Between now and Christmas I will be upgrading shipping to Priority mail.

I have lots of kits in stock if anyone wants one- just let me know!
 
I'm really interested in this kit; however, I have a 2020 with smart keys. What's the behavior when disabling the smart key (hold lock, press unlock twice)? Does it behave as if the key isn't in the truck?
 
I'm looking to grab a unit. Just want to confirm that the wireless fobs will still "pop" the trunk? For some reason these trunks are so heavy.

No problem. The main point of this kit it to be able to "pop" the hatch from the inside of the vehicle and push it open. Also to roll down the rear hatch window from inside the cargo/sleeping area inside the vehicle. That way you don't have to have the key in the ignition and use the button on the center console up front. Makes sleeping in the vehicle that much easier and nicer.

Just wanted to pop in with an update...I have had this installed for a few months now and have been amazing on my camping trips. Great mod and the parts are quality! I haven't had any issues, and the parts/build are quality. Thanks again for creating this.

I installed the kit over the weekend. I envy who ever can install this in a half hour, I took around 5 hours but went slow and careful and stumbled through the wire fishing. My 2008 sr5 had a grey with red stripe wire instead red with stripe window down wire in the instructions, so after some googling I found another writeup on this forum for a 2008 and ended up following those instructions and wiretapped into the MPX door module wiring. The MPX wiring is also a lot easier to access and inside the vehicle versus exposed to the elements like the kit tap location.

The kit works great and I would buy again. I asked for some extra length and installed the buttons in the passenger side wheel well storage box and grounded to an existing stud near the rear tail light.
