Love my Spiker Engineering Ultragauge mount as well. Simple design, rock solid, easy install and puts the gauge at a great location that is super easy to glance at.

Like everyone said, UG shows trans temps on a 2000 and the startup temps match. I don't recall seeing a field for IAT but I was mainly after the T temps. Spiker mount as well. Some tweeker rummaged through my (always empty) rig a few weeks ago and was interested enough to spin the gauge around but was too spun to get it off.
I was blissfully ignorant of trans temps until I did my first off-road jaunt after installing the UG and got it up to 249 degrees. That was a bit troubling. A Tru-cool tranny cooler in series (recent new radiator) got me down to a nice 185 under maximum desert/summer strain, and around 150 cruising asphalt with OD off.

It's funny when my rig was stolen they took the ultragauge off the mount but didn't unplug it from the OBD port either. Hope you're rig's alright otherwise.

Thanks, yes, it was totally fine. A mere investigative rifling. All my CDs and 2 tapes were still there on the floor (great to have an old rig with CD & cassette capabilities). That's all I leave inside. Most bands I see still sell music at their merch tables in those formats. I have noticed that occasionally all door locks don't lock with the fob, so the whole thing wasn't nearly as evil as your experience.
Also, I meant to edit my earlier post right after I hit Submit but got sidetracked because of course it displays Intake Air Temp as well....

I always used to keep my doors unlocked in SF. Had people smoke cigs in my car and hang out in it but it helped keep my windows from getting smashed. There just wasn't that much car theft in my experience living in the Bay Area, I know that's changing now though. Different story overall in PNW though lol

Don;t know when you lived here, but it's been getting pretty bad for about 10 years. SF had over 3,000 -REPORTED- car burglaries in 1 recent month. ONE MONTH! Many people don't bother to report them as far as I can tell. My rig lives in the hood and there are only a handful of spots I'll risk these nights. When my son's school schedule changes next semester and I no longer drive him, I'll be leaving my truck at work and riding a bike again. I'll be more worried about theft when I hang some BF stuff I got on it, too...... looking at fuel-pump cut-off and other mobility-stallers as well as tracking.
