I am very excited to show you what's new for the 3rd gen racks! Through the efforts of [MENTION=91228]Wooden Payload[/MENTION] (CNC work) and [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] (Logo design) I'm adding 4 CNC bent, cut, and logo'd plates to the sides of the rack. On the plates, I'll be welding strap hooks similar to my 4th gen mounts to add another element of functionality to the design. My plan is for this to be the new standard setup. Obviously this costs me more to make but the prices will remain unchanged for the time being as I'm most excited about putting out a more refined product. Check out the drawings below and see what you think!

I know I know, I wish this was something I could retrofit on all my previous racks. Its a very recent development and I promise if it had been cooking during your build I would have hooked you up Kyle.
 
Those are going to look really cool!

I had a another guy asking me about my rack today, when I stopped at Publix. It really gets noticed!
 
my first thought was that it would work great for when I go camping and i park about 8 feet away from a tree and i could hook up my ENO hammock to the tie down point on one end and the tree on the other end and also attach my profly to those two points and presto, a full fledged base camp!!
 
Good idea Kyle, there's still no shortage of places to tie off to on your rack. I've had all kinds of crap tied to mine at one point or another lol.
 
whitson, have you thought about making a lader similiar to gobi? i think that would really add to your line and increase your sales. especially with all the negatives ive heard about gobi.
 
Looks awesome man! :) will the new rack have the mesh bottom option? And customizable front for a light bar? Eventually I would love to buy one, but lift and armor come first......

I've thought about it but really just don't have the time to dial one in. I think Baja makes one as well which is a little cheaper than g-brand?

The mesh floor is still standard as is the light shelf built into the front, just not shown in the drawing for visibility' sake. And this is armor too! Roof armor!:becky:
 
that new design looks real good. i have one of the very first design ones and its holding up great. ive put all kinds of stuff on it from firewood to sleeping on it on night. keep up the good work.
maybe add a bottle opener gusset somewhere that would be real slick.
 
Options I would pay for:

- Loom guides such as those that Dirtco just placed on his rear tire swing out
- Mounting plates for a LED bar on the front (probably custom, very much dependent on the LED bar itself)
- Side mount plates for LED's (such as a 4x4 pod)
- As mentioned, a ladder rack would be nifty
- Some sort of wind faring (with a cut out for the LED bar??)
- Tabs for limb risers on the front


Stellar product, really makes me consider swapping out my Baja rack.

I love my gobi rear ladder and fits perfectly with the WMW and have zero issues with it whatsoever... It's just the wait time that sucks... But the same goes for shrockworks and such

ive heard them giving some of my friends the run around not meaning negative on there product just service and wait time

Yeah, I was one of those who got the run around as well, several times but I just kept calling them over and over.. Sometimes being a student has its perks with free time at odd moments

Anyways back to Josh and his awesome updated version!
