Looks similar to the ebay one. You get header problems with manifold performance. I wouldn't chance it.

Your really in a bad spot with a cracked manifold. I know with epa nonsense is it almost impossible to get used exhaust parts. I would make friends with a junkyard before I would spend the kind of money that Toyota wants for a new one. Canadians could probably get used ones from the US. It may be worth the time for US people to try to find a used one in Canada.

I broken down and bought the one off of ebay. The box arrived and it is a Pacesetter brand. It features an all stainless steel construction for $300. Here is the link to their website. Direct-Fit Replacement Manifold Catalytic Converters | Pacesetter Performance Products

All their manifolds are backed by a 5 year warranty and the claim is they are all US Made.

Mine gets installed next week.

HOLY SHIIZZY the v6 1s are 700$ plus !! Gonna try the magnaflow and their 600$ , still a little concerned about 49 st. fed emissions but n NV. they just plug & play test.

More info. I looked in the box this AM and found that the Pacesetter manifolds are build by Catco out of Hobart, Indiana. Their website confirms the 5year/ 50K warranty and 304 stainless steel tubing used.

Did you get this installed yet? I'm curious what the shop charged you to put it in and if you are seeing any issues (leaks, lights, etc). Mine needs to be done soon.

Nope. Parts are here and I've gathered all the studs needed. I just need to set up an appt. I was quoted $225 for the install. Just haven't had time.

$225! Holy crap that's a damn good price (even if it is just one side) - I wonder if they know what they are getting into. I think the dealership says 7 hours. Please give us an update after you get it done.

Ok, so I booked an appointment for the install for next Monday. Again I was quoted $225 for the install.

Going to pick up the truck right now from the shop. The total install was $275.00 with all the parts I supplied. One stud broke off and they had to extract it. I dropped it off at 8AM and they called at 2pm to say it was done.

If anyone wants to do the same install, the shop was Lou's Custom Exhaust in Worcester, MA. Lou's is a chain here in New England.

Back to OEM. Sounds nice and quiet. The guys said the install was not bad and the Pacesetter Replacement was very good quality.

This is good news! I've had a cracked manifold on both sides for a while now. Maybe its time to get it done. Thanks for being one of the first to try it. More updates down the road would be great!:hatsoff:

OP, great to see this worked for you. Does anyone know if running with cracked manifolds could cause any issues? Mine are cracked and I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I need to spend the money on the repair.

Here is a pic of the new installed manifold.

Note the heat shield was destroyed in the process. The guys at the exhaust shop said it fell apart when they took it off. I'm debating whether to get a new one or not.

I ordered the Toyota heat shield and it arrived today. What a PITA to install that thing! I got it on and it fit like a glove over the PaceSetter aftermarket manifold. The part was $50. All else is good in case anyone is looking to do this mod.

let me just get this straight...the ebay one for $300 is actually a pacesetter one, which is about $700 on the pacesetter site? am i missing something?
