When I had my tires rotated recently, I got the truck back and the spongy brake feel that all 4Runners I test drove had been replcaced with a more normal brake feel that engages softly at 1/4, normally at 1/2, and then you have your panic and holy crap after that.
Before it seemed like it had a lot more travel to it.
I told the dealer about it and he said I was nuts. I'm not debating whether I'm crazy, but is this some kind of learning/adaptive feature?
Also, is 15.8 mpg bad for a TE? The service tech said he crapped himself when he saw my display.
