You can get a 4Runner off of the boat quicker in Germany than in the US! Good luck with it when you get the new truck. Which trim did you go with? I can't find it anywhere in the thread.

black can get dirty pretty quickly, but it turns heads everywhere i go when it's washed and polished.

and i guess it helps that i have a garage to put it in.

Normally that would be true and I could, but since they don't sell 4Runners in Germany, mine has to got to the states, then come here, therefore it takes forever. Don't know why they do it that way but that's the rules. Regardless, I'm going today to try and haggle a little more on the black one, then I'll probably be coming home with it a few days after New Years now because of the holiday

You won't be sorry with black. I think the 4Runner looks more classy in black.

Everyone has their opinion, but to me silver is the most boring color on any vehicle. Silver doesn't make any vehicle look it's best. In fact, my wife always says, "any color except silver!"

I have a cousin who gets a new vehicle every two years. In the past 25 years, every single vehicle has been black.

One time on a rental car, Hertz gave me the keys to a silver car. When I went out and saw that it was silver, I went right back in and asked for any other color. (I really don't like silver vehicles...It seems like 80% of all rental cars are silver.)

The other thing about silver....the paint looks old and dull after only a couple of years. Have you ever seen a 10 year old silver vehicle?

Silver seems like a polarizing color....people either love it or hate it. Yet other times it goes totally unnoticed...

Koz, Hit the nail on the head.

If you were to run it through an auto car wash it will look like some one washed it with a towel full of sand. Mine is black and I don't get to wash it as often as I would like. Like the others I love it when it is clean. Just hard to keep it that way. Good luck with the new truck.

Well, Got a bump in the road

Mainly the fact that I don't make much money and we were holding 10,000 in hand for about two nights. I'm now 4Runnerless for at least about a year.

Thats right, we backed out of the 06 deal, just didn't feel right, and we dropped our dealership too, it caters to military and is the only way to get a Runner new over here. Regardless, my wife found a nice Honda Accord she wanted and we paid 3200 for it. Then her brother dropped a bombshell and now my wife and kids are headed back to the states in March for his wedding, really glad we passed on the Runner now because that's probably at least 3 G's right there.

Regardless, I'm without Black or Silver, and I go get the check for my deposit tomorrow, we were going to add the 10,000 to it. Oh well, I'll miss 4Runners, but I won't miss car payments, because we are without one now. It will allow us to travel Europe more as soon as I get back from the damn Middle East, I leave in 2 days now

Oh well, thought I'd update and I'm sure I won't be posting as much now.

If you want some grey Husky liners in like new condition, respond here, don't PM and I'll be looking for you, make me an offer, it for Front, rear and the back. I think it was about 275 new for all of them, check Performance Products.

Did I loose money on the principle? No, I only owe around 15,900 on it and I sold it for 26,500 so I have a huge downpayment now too.

Dude, you got $26,500 for an 2004 V6 SR5 4X4 w/ only a moonroof, 17in rims and a spoiler? Wow'sers! 4Runners must be hard to come by over there. You can get an '05 4X4 V6 off the lot here for about 28,500 plus TTL!

I sure hope I can get top dollar for my Runner whenever I am ready to trade for the new redesigned Sequoia! I can't wait until Toyota comes out with this SUV in '08.
