What did you use to install this to your OEM roof rails?

They sell a bracket to attach to the oem rails.

Installed the PowerStop Z36 front & rear kit. Front was easy... Rear reminded me how much I hate wrenching...

You love it. I was pretty happy with the factory suspension other than the nose dive when coming to even an easy stop. I thought it rode pretty nice and smooth. You'll be amazed how much better it rides with the new suspension. So much more controlled and feels much more planted to the road. Now you just need bigger tires!

I was honestly expecting to mainly appreciate this lift in the desert or fire roads etc... I really cant believe how it changes the vehicle dynamics on the road. No nose dive, no super stiff feel, no more bouncy/bouncy, gone.

So far, really happy with the final lift as well. Final rake is about 1.5 inch higher in back than front. Almost exactally as planned. I haven't loaded the back up yet, so not sure how much the T13's will sag, but think it will be just about right.

What's a couple hundred dollars among friends Picked up the blue today with newly installed Fox 2.5's DSC's/TC UCA's and T13 coils. Well...OMG.

I was honestly expecting to mainly appreciate this lift in the desert or fire roads etc... I really cant believe how it changes the vehicle dynamics on the road. No nose dive, no super stiff feel, no more bouncy/bouncy, gone.

That looks great! I will be lifting mine soon hopefully however with not quite as fancy of suspension as yours. I'm just doing the basic 5100s and I do also have the same T 13's for the rear. I currently have the BFG 275 KO2s like you do and I have noticed that they do not ride very well. Much bumpier/bouncier like you mentioned. Hopefully adding the lift will help out … I had been running my tire pressure at around 40 but I did recently drop the pressure to 36 PSI and that has helped a little bit but it's still a pretty bumpy ride. Did you notice the same ride issue when you installed your tires? Or did these tires go on at the same time as the lift?

My truck has KDSS and I'm wondering if that adds to the bumpy feeling since a bump on one wheel may hydraulically transmit that energy to another wheel…

I did have the KO2/275's on for several months before this lift. I run them at 35psi and am pretty happy with the ride. I didn't notice too much difference from stock, just a smidge more tire hum. The bouncy/bouncy I experienced with both the stock tires and the 275's and I believe was due to the front coilovers. So far, I am glad I went with the 275's rather than 285's because my mileage is about the same, and they have been great in snow, dirt and dry pavement.

Once you get the 5100's on, I bet that will go away and you will really like those tires and love the overall ride. Sounds like you have a solid plan.

Continued my trek up to Salem to pick up my new Teardrops NW Recon and take it down to Overland West! Today was LA to Arcata CA. Cut West through the Shasta-Trinity National Forest on CA-299. If you ever find yourself in that area it is a super pretty drive that follows the Trinity River most of the way. I will continue onto Salem tomorrow north on the 101!

Installed xenon depot 4300k philips HID kit....i wish i would've gone with my gut and ordered the 5 or 55k kit though. output is white, without being unnaturally white. they don't match the rigid fog lights though lololol.

WOW I am so surprised that Flagstaff AZ is the closest place from SoCal that you found a Trail w/KDSS. I bought mine in late 2014 in Cerritos, CA. I guess it was early for the 5th gens. I just can't believe it! Anyways you will not be disappointed and the truck will do what ask it to do plus more, enjoy!

Picked up my new 2016 TE w/KDSS in Flagstaff, Arizona today. Drove a rental car out from L.A. because Flagstaff was the closest place I could find a KDSS-equipped Trail.

Wasted no time breaking the tamper-proof seal -- took it right from the dealer's lot immediately onto some Forest Service roads which included one pretty challenging one. Even gave the front skid plate its first rock scratch!

So far it's exactly*what I was hoping for!

Purchased acrylic 3d decals of Toyota symbol to replace the MB logo of my MB vertex wheels.

3dcarstickers.com - UK site so shipping takes like 3 weeks.

They make them in any diameter per millimeter. Just use a screw driver and pull off the oem MB decals and clean any left over residual adhesives​ and then peel and stick the new ones.

I've used these for 4+ years on some of my other vehicles wheels and they haven't faded or fallen off...

Stopped by the local dealer and had them program the key fob to roll down all windows when holding unlock, and deactivate the seat belt chime. They had no idea what I was talking about when I told them what I wanted done. I told them to check techstream and they found it, they were like how do you know about techstream...In and out in about 10mins.

That feature is awesome; especially if you live where it gets HOT. That 30 seconds of letting the heat out of the oven makes a huge difference!
