For materials I used 1/8 inch thick steel plate and purchased a gate hinge from home depot ($5). The combo lock ($23) I purchased from amazon see the link below. The spray on bedliner was around ($6). So probably around $35 in materials, the steel I had from a previous project.
Here is the combo lock I used
I mocked up a prototype out of cardboard first and then once I was happy cut out the steel. There are two existing bolts at the bottom of the center console. I just drilled two holes into the bottom of my new lock box, then I purchased longer bols and washers to tighten the lock box to the two existing bolt holes. Very solid and heavy duty.

Only down side is it is a bit small, so if you have a full size 1911 or something it wont fit. I could have made it bigger but didnt want to lose my entire center console. I have a salex organizer tray that sits above it that I like. See my build thread for pictures.

I'll be running the Hertz HCX-165 in the rear doors and tailgate. Rockford P300X2 on each pair. HSK163 up front on the same amp (3 total, one for each pair) Image Dynamics single 10" sub on a Rockford P300x1 DSP will likely be an LCQ-1 but not sure yet. 12 gauge Sky High speaker wire run to every speaker, 0 gauge power cable, Stinger 8000 Audiophole RCA cables, everything soldered, probably about 200 square feet of Fat Mat Rattle Trap. Don't use your stock junk speaker wire and make sure to sound deaden everything inside and out.

Not sure to be honest but I know it didn't come on my 2016 SR5 I want to say it comes on the Trail Premium and Off Road but I am not 100% sure of that. I'm sure other guys with those models can confirm. In all honestly the OEM skids are thin sheet metal and not very strong at all. If you're going to use your skids as skids, i'd buy quality aftermarket.

The 6920 matches the simplicity and ruggedness of the 4Runner better anyway.

Exhaust is on, and I really like it. Not as loud as I'd like it because it's the first time I've ever ran a delta series, but I'm also not getting any droning and it's not obnoxious in the cabin either. Sounds good, feels good, runs great. Cold air intake will be on tomorrow a.m and I'll do a new and separate post on this combination. Cheers!

Threw together a platform/rack for the trunk space. Can stack two large bins and two small bins on top, and two small bins and two shoebox size bins down below. In addition to rear accessible rtic cooler. Doing a cross country move here next week and throwing in some camping.
