Just put on coat # 4. Me thinks I'm about done. 15 min to peel. ( Radiator heater helping speed along the 52 degree ambient temp's drying process .)

Looks better than my first try haha. I peeled all mine off last night to re-do it this weekend. Also, it took me a whole 2 weeks but i finally removed those hideous stock running boards.

Took a little drive over to Moab to climb Castleton tower

epic weather, about 50 degrees and no wind. Had the place to ourselves.

Head out to Colorado sometime..I'm sure you'll love it. There's a ton of mountains to hit as well.

Dropped off my T4R at the stealership this morning for the driveshaft thud/clunk noise TSB and figured I'd have them turn off the seatbelt chime at the same time. They said they wouldn't have an issue turning the seatbelt chime off but have to charge me $50.00 to do so (only free when it’s a brand new purchase.) The head mechanic then wanted to go on a test drive to hear/feel the clunk. Of course I couldn't replicate it and figured I was going to have a battle on my hand. To my surprise they just called saying the new axel won't be in until the tomorrow morning and asked if they can keep it over night. Pretty relieved I didn't have to get into it with them. :thumb3:

Installed led's inside and outside, breaking 2/4 tabs on one mirror and 3/4 tabs on the other while swapping out the puddle lights...ouch. Seems secure so far but I guess I will find out at the car wash tomorrow.

Been a hard last half of 2013 at work. Good, but hard! Finally getting a little down time - started vacation today, don't have to go back until Jan 2!

Gassed & loaded the 4Runner, my buddy Doug will be at my house at 6am tomorrow and we leave for Big Bend (2nd trip for me). Going to do it a little differently this trip. We're going to get on Hwy 90 out of San Antonio and drive through Del Rio. Going to camp in the national park, check out some of what I didn't get to see last trip.

Then we are going to cut over to the state park and camp at Chorro Vista:

Never been to the state park before, looking forward to it! We're going to finish out through Marfa, then Ft Davis and the Davis Mtns - come home before Christmas! I'll have limited access to the forum, will post w/ pics when we get back.

I actually like the State Park a little better honestly. Also, you need to make sure that you go by Sawtooth Mountain while you are poking around the Davis Mountains. My friend and I went up and shot Sawtooth a few weeks ago for The Nature Conservancy and it was really amazing!

I was in the garage last night contemplating going to bed and peeling in the morning when I read your post...wound up doing the 4th coat (I was going to stop at 3), and peeling the same night. Appreciate you playing guinea pig as it came out great. Best of luck with the next round! :hatsoff:

After the springs settled on my front suspension from having the new front bumper installed, cranked it back to level (about an inch!) and had it realigned. +5 caster feels good!

A small but powerful storm rolled through LA on Thursday and I took advantage and went snowboarding at Mt. High. Helped recover couple cars/trucks as well while on my way down the mountain.
