What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

How many miles?
Before the baby came, I used to ride to work 3 times a week. 16 miles round trip.

7 miles round trip. Our new house is only like 3.5 miles away. Super easy. I've always been a runner and not a cyclist so any distance is new for me. I really like it so far for the 2 times I've done it. I'd like to try and alternate between riding and running.

A decent bike makes all the difference.
I was using costco mountain bike for a while... Too heavy.
I now have a Fuji Cyclocross, its not a $10,000 bike or anything. Much better than the 5 ton mountain bike though :)

Nice. I ended up with a Scott Sportster 55 when I started commuting in Seattle. The 60 mm travel front fork and the disc brakes are clutch in the rain and urban environment. its a little on the heavy side at 35lbs but I have also started MTB on fire roads in the bay area and have beaten it pretty good and its still going strong. May upgrade to a longer travel fork though.

I am going to ride a trail in Portland today. We'll see how this goes.

Ok :offtopic: over

Broke out the TechStream and turned off the seatbelt buzzers, ECO indicator and did some other minor tweaks.

Also stopped by and made appointment to have paint protective film installed next week.

I must have missed it... did you get a new runner? If so, did you go out of state?

What kind of bike do you have?

It gets the job done, though. Nice! I've got to borrow mountain bikes when I go. I tend to ride road more, so I had to prioritize my bike purchase.

Factor 55 HitchLink Installed!!!

Looks even better than I expected. Just waiting for the shackle to arrive!!!

Would have look even sexier if I actually have taken a J-BlickPhoto quality style picture.

Did my first few tweeks to the truck last night.

Installed the radio from my old truck.

And dipped the grille. Need to get the rest of the trim.

30 plus inches of snow

Drove wife's trail to work today instead of my fj,, damn that thing drives amazing in the snow! Not saying fj is bad in the snow but there was no sliding or trouble stopping! Gonna be taking that thing more often

Finally got some snow on the eastern shore of Maryland. Only vehicle in the passing lane uncleared of any snow.

I'm glad i have this 4runner.

Drove to Vegas and then up to Tahoe. The weather was perfect the whole time and I finally broke the 15 MPG mark on the super computer.
