Not today but in the past week....
Finally got around to installing my Xenondepot HID low-beam kit. Was able to hide the ballasts and relays to make it almost look stock under the hood.

Then taped everything up and PlastiDip'd the front and back emblems and bumper garnish.

Then took one of the pups out to Corolla, NC to run the beach for a while. This was my first "real" 4WD moments since I bought her last year. Handled the soft sand beautifully even with the stock highway tires (I did air down to 20psi though).

Having just purchased a new 4Runner, I spent a while today figuring out how to program the garage door opener to the overhead console..... The instructions in the manual didn't work so I called the 1-800 number. That worked fine. One project down, 1000 to go....

I wrapped one of my roof rails in white vinyl to see how I liked the white on white, it doesn’t look great up close. I need to do the other one (ran out of day light). I’m digging it though, and if I continue to do so, I’ll have it powder coated or professionally wrapped.

There’s a guy by me with a kitted out Range Rover. It’s white and he’s got some sort of tube roof rack powder coated to match.. think Gobi style. It looks pretty clean if that’s your style.

This is actually from two weeks ago. I loaded it full of camping and hiking gear, picked up my dad and took a three hour ride to north central PA for four days of camping and hiking.
Do you mind if I ask where on PA you went? I’m newer to the region and would like to explore a bit this summer.

Air 80 Windshield Tint
Searched the forum and couldn’t find much on the Air 80 tint on a 5th gen. I pulled the trigger tonight and am incredibly impressed. No distortion or change in night visibility. Will post up some pics tomorrow. To anyone on the fence about this like I was, go ahead and do it, you’ll kick yourself for waiting!

...Well...this is my first 'new' car in 24 years...and as ya all know...they aint cheap....so I would rather be safe than sorry...
....But, I agree with you...the smell of mothballs is Nasty!..
....( no matter how ya hold 'em! ).....

Well the end caps are staying black, and my cross bars are black. If I ever go rack it will stay black. Just thought the rails would be a good bit of contrast to everyone that does black.

We camped in the Loyalsock State Forest at Masten. We were hiking parts of the Old Loggers Path and exploring Rock Run. On the way back we stopped at Ricketts Glen State Park to view the waterfalls. If you plan a trip there, pay attention for rattlesnakes now that it's beginning to get warm.
PA has tons of public land. The state dcnr site lists the state parks and forests. Online maps are available for downloading as well. You can make online reservations to camp in the parks. Camping in the state forests might require a permit depending on where you camp. It's best to call the designated state forest HQ.
Wherever you go, be cognizant of the season and overlap to any hunting regulations. If you're hiking you might be required to wear blaze orange.
