Finally de-chromed my Limited. Waaaay overdue

I just finished doing the same to my ORP....don’t forget about the mirror side markers!! I got some sweet ones from runnin4tacos.com, I think I spent 75? They are smoked sequentials so they vibe with my sequential turn Morimotos. It looks awesome

Took the day off to head up to Uwharrie to run Wolfs Den and Falls Dam. There is one tricky spot on Falls Dam but thankfully I had a spotter to make it easier. Was a bit slick still after several days of rain in the area.

Truck and new Dobinsons IMS suspension handled everything we could throw at it. The 3rd picture might not show it great but we got the back wheel a little off the ground for the first time.

Had to move back to Nor Cal for a while to take care of family properties after my dad passed. Not too stoked on the $450 registration but those black legacy plates sure are sweet.

Finally got to wash after the last 2 weeks of rain. had to break out the compound and polisher because the mud, rain, dirt and salt mixed and made this horrible sticky mixture that wouldn’t come off no matter hard i washed [emoji2359]

Swapped out my Rigid fogs to Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros ... So I can use the fogs as fogs again. Legal beam pattern vs the Dually D2 Driving aren't.

Thanks man, I really appreciate that. It was horrible and fast, I wouldn't wish pancreatic cancer on anyone! He was a pro motocross racer in the late 70s, a year ago he was still out-riding everyone and making/maintaining single track trails, took less than nine months from diagnosis. 2020 has been one BRUTAL year.

work decided to put tar coat on the parking lot. said they were doing it over the weekend. tuesday, came back to the yard with company truck to find they had used big blowers to sweep the lot, and they pushed all the sand, dirt, small rocks, everything into the employee parking side. mine was front and center. 1/8 inch of sand, dirt on the hood, roof, windshield. not a happy camper, been in a foul mood all week. vacuumed under wiper blades, and top of fenders under hood. had to use compressor and blow it off as well as i could, even got into the engine compartment. rinsed it with no pressure, then did a wash. looks ok now, but still not happy. calling in sick, going fishing.

I got started on installing a Switch Pros 9100 last night with the vertical mount bracket and install kit from Powertrays. The kit is pretty good, it had all the hardware necessary plus one extra of each size of locknut and ring terminal. Today I got it installed into the engine bay and reconnected my hood lights to the Blue Sea fuse block. I also installed the YotaLeds raptor light kit to connect to the switch pros. I haven't gotten the ignition fuse tap connected yet so I can't use the switch pros but that will be a job for tomorrow. I got laid off last week so I have all the free time in the world to finish this jobs plus install my Anytime Backup Camera and ICS Fab dash mount.

I just remembered I also figured out how to get trans temps showing on my OBDLink MX+. It took some searching but I got two custom PIDs defined to show it. See here: Trying to make sense of T4R OBD/CAN PID codes

I did a quick 5-min drive to Lowe's after setting up the sensors. With ambient temps here in Florida at about 80 degrees, the trans temp sensors were reading about 200 degrees when I started driving and around 260 when I stopped. This seems really high for a short, simple trip. Do I have the equations double converting from Celsius to Fahrenheit? See attached pics.

brought down the resale value and cut the front bumper, painted and installed skids and sliders (which took WAY longer than anticipated), installed Rago center console MOLLE panels, and some other small things.

Installed morimoto 2stroke 2.0 highs and lows. Don't know what to make of them. Throwing weird beam pattern.
