I got started working on my Body Mount Chop tonight. Got the drivers side cut and tested out. Tomorrow I weld it back together and paint.
I'll have some pictures uploaded once it's done.

Put in Bilsten 5100's front and rear. No lift on the front, sorry. But wow, did that ride suddenly get a lot better.

This happened today, a passer-by pull me back out. Ironic since I was looking at recovery point the other day. First time out with the spacer lift. Not happy with the ride of the truck (hella rough). Will have to save up for the Toytec Ultimate Lift.
It was a fun day because at any given time, there were 3-5 rigs stuck in the mud pit.

Plasti Dip'd the Rims
Ordered the rim kit from dipyourcar.com and after about two weeks the slow boat from China arrived with my order. Seven coats and an hour and a half later and I have the look I wanted. I liked the stock rims on my LE and wanted to make sure I would be happy with the look before I committed to powder coating.

Did you take the wheels off?

Did you try using A-trac? Just surprised it needed a pull right there.. you have the daystar 3/2 lift?

looks like he only had one front and one rear tire touching, so without a locker, it's down to 0wd. not sure how much atrac would help it that situation.
also, the step rails have got to go...:redbrick:

Yeaa.. i was under the assumption that a-trac will apply the brakes to the slipping wheel allowing the other to then spin.. helping both front and rear electronically.. i know its not like a true lsd/locker.. but it's something... lol i'd trade someone my Limited for their TE lol

Nope. The kit comes with some bags that you pull thru the wheels in order to cover your brakes and then you just spray. The whole thing took under an hour and a half and was fool proof. It's very forgiving with the accidental overspray and peels right off the tires with no masking needed. All I did was remove the center caps.
