I just sold my set - sans the tank skid - for $100 + s/h. The guy's mechanic lost them when servicing his vehicle.
Might consider posting in flea market.
Fun Wheel Drive
Went wheeling for first time with my friend in his newish stock Tacoma 4x4 TRDOR. Gasline road through the mountains and checked out a century old mine site (known locally as swiss cheese hill).
This was a great hill climb. I used my tires and sliders to move a boulder out of the way and make access easier at the bottom.
I started filming him climbing up it, but we stirred up some bees. One pinged me hard in the back of the head, then stung me. I told friend to close his windows as I sprinted up that hill, got to my 4r, paused, heard the buzzing near my daughter's sleeve, so we took off her sweater and it flew out from inside and tried to swarm us (by itself). Got in the car, swatted it out, watched all windows close slowwwwwly.
May seem like overreaction, but we have africanized bees here. They're pretty relentless.
Anyways, here's the hill. Haha
Knowing that I had lots of armor, and a recovery vehicle nearby, I tried to straddle a deep washout.
Oops
Stuck as stuck gets. He couldn't budge me forward. Whole truck was basically sitting on the skids and sliders. I was waiting for superman to show up.
Would have got more pictures but battery was too low. He took some, though.
He pulled me out backwards, and I bossed over the ditches at a better angle. Need a new rear left quarter panel.

i just thought that it was the SOP (standard operating procedure) when working on or discussing T4Rs to include beer.
Got a change to meet up with a bunch of T4R members this past week.

Finally got my lift on and tires. I had my 4ruuner for about a month and it was killing me in stock form. I need a roof rack now but undecided between the equipt k9 and the front runner full length.
yes, i know. My problem is that i have been very busy trying to get my mods done before my camping trip next week. oh also because i am lazy. i will try to get some pics up soon.

She needs a wash but today I Plastidip'ed the Trail silver valance and knocked out the chrome. For the chrome I sprayed four coats of matte black Plastidip then two more with the graphite metalizer. I think it's a great match for the TOYOTA badge on the front TRD Pro trim.
