No matter I guess. I got a box thats just a bit to big jammed in there and its still full after 6 months so that'll prolly last til 2014 :wink2:

Finally got around to plasti-diping my rear emblems. Super easy. Then sprayed spray-on truck bed liner on the rear bumper. It was getting pretty beat up.
I am going to have to do the same to the fender plastic as well. Every time I come back from exploring it is more and more jacked.

For the emblems, I just masked out a square around everything. 4 coats and just pealed off all the plastidip around the letters.
The bedliner spray I used is the Rustoleum brand. I chose this brand because it has less of a texture to it than the Dupli-Color product. I might have to do more coats, but I wanted to see what it is like on there. From a distance, you cant really tell that it is even there at all. Here are some close ups.
I just masked everything off and sealed the back hatch opening with plastic. Then took a tack cloth and cleaned up the area on the bumper.

Finally got done with refinishing one of my great grandfather's safari boxes. It is #3 of 11. It is a custom Anvil case from around the late 60's I believe. It weighs almost 40lbs empty. These things have been around the block a few times from Alaska to Australia.
I haven't made up my mind if I am going to use it as a food box, or a third utility box yet.

It's the ARB Pilbara. Identical to the Simpson III only without the entrance vestibule thing.
I actually picked it up and put it on while I was "at work" so was in a hurry and as a result it's mounted so that it would open forwards. Have to wait until I can get someone to give me a hand taking it off tomorrow so I can put it on the right way. Otherwise I'd probably sleep in it tonight

mtbnole - how do you like the T4R compared to the Xterra? We traded our '08 SE 4WD last week for a SR5 4WD and love it! I do miss the touchy throttle and firmer suspension but no real regrets so far.
