in the past few days...
after learning that I don't have quite as much space in this rig as the old pick-up, I upgraded to a BajaRack thanks to a local T4R member.
Also had to check out the factory tires/4wd system/flex for the first time.

I made a bracket for my ARB twin compressor this past weekend. I hope I gave enough room for the quick disconnect. Got to get everything wired up soon!

It looks like you might have come up with the simple-lest,cheapest and best idea yet for the 2nd battery in front of the air box.
From your pics ,it looks like you just made a simple bracket to relocate the power steering reservoir over,factory bracket and all. Then there's room to just put any old group 34 battery tray in there. They sell cheap plastic ones at pep boys for like $5.The battery tray doesn't have to be bolted down as the factory one is just sitting there not bolted down as long as the battery has tie downs.
So all we really need is power steering reservoir relocator bracket , not fancy special battery trays.
Why didn't I think of that. DOH! Oh well, I already made my special one.

Took her in for an oil change (coupon for $35 synthetic, couldn't do it myself for that price) and found out my battery couldn't hold a load. Got a free battery replacement courtesy of Toyota, glad I went in rather than the battery dieing and leaving me stranded!

Gary, you are right! I made a simple bracket to relocate the power steering reservoir. But it wasn't as simple as that. I had to make a mount that lifted the battery an inch or so above to avoid one of the pipes on the right so I could properly mount the powersteering. I might make a build thread for some of the brackets I made, even though most of my ideas were a run on most of your mods.

Went to the Outdoor Academy tradeshow event. Got some cool free swag and learned a lot!
Goal Zero is there giving demonstrations. I didn't have a chance to attend their class today, but I plan on checking it out tomorrow.
Snow Peak had some really great stuff on display. Their stuff is just so well designed. I love all of it, and most of their products are geared for overlanding and such.
Gore-Tex was the main sponsor of the event and brought out their "storm truck". In the back of the truck there is a room with a simulated rain storm inside complete with wind, rain, and lightning!
Free Panera Bread lunch!

Guess I can begin my TE face lift...
So I was driving home from work, right. I work in an business park...so you can imagine that around the 4-5 o'clock hour, parking lots are clearing out and herds of traffic are hitting the road generally around the same time. Well today, apparently MA-DOT decided to chuck up the road as I would imagine they are going to repave the street (they were pretty bad). Of course the road is going to have some scrap chunks that aren't collected. So yea...driving down the road of course crap is shuffled around the road. So a chunk got kicked up and hit the front end of the truck (Headlight/Hood/Windshield). At that point I was doing about 25mph. Truck survived but got a little bruised. This only give me all the more reason to begin the TE transformation and HID projector headlights.

Lmao. Yea, I don't have an acct with a picture server and just loaded the pics straight from my phone. As for the light, just hoping it doesn't rain so I don't lose the bulb.
