Found out that a hardtop for my MGB fits inside rather than needing to go up on the roof rack. What a pleasant surprise.
Looks like the whole MGB might fit too!

Finally finished a real PITA project.
Painted my Baja Rack, and coated the cross bars with Kevlar truck bed liner.

Love the custom orange BajaRack! Looks like you've zeroed-in on my color scheme .. black truck with orange accents.
I think you need some orange powder-coated BudBuilt skid plates or orange sliders to round out the look ....

The whole car is getting wrapped (soon I hope). White up front and the whole rear is going to be mostly orange. Hopefully I can have that done, and a list of mods done by September for our event.
I think I am going to go for white steel wheels, like this:
Kind of hard to picture now with the vehicle being all black, bit it is going to be white basically to the rear doors.
We will see. As of right now, I like the color matched rack. It was just a lot of work LOL.

Went out in searched for the elusive Canyon Falls. Found it with the help of a topo and aerial.
There are some vacant climbing ropes that were left there on the rock walls. They clutter up the scenery and are unsafe. Our mission was to go there and remove the ropes. Unfortunately I was not able to get up to remove them as the rope to get up to the highest point was in very bad condition. I plan to find another way up and remove them then.

Which Canyon Falls? Depending, I'd be more than happy to help you clean the route.

It is kind of a "secret spot".
It is on the way to Holy Jim off of Trabuco Creek Rd. at about 33.679113,-117.534352. Google does show a partial trial there. I think there is another falls at 33.680379,-117.532624 and also at 33.683844,-117.532078.
The rock in these canyons is very bad for climbing as it is all very loose, and the dirt is also very loose.
The brush is very thick and the walls near the falls themselves are steep. You can take a look, but I think the best way is to head down through the canyon, then head East before the walls get too steep and go up and around from there. I would have done that, but I was a little pressed for time. I am available most days during the week. Shoot me a PM if you might want to go.
The ropes are really ugly. I swung them out of the way to take my pictures. If you look at the waterfall picture above, look directly to the right of the falls and you can make out the ropes.
