A little trip to a cabin off the rio frio in leakey, tx...that NSR is perfect for hanging some inner tubes off of for transport from the cabin to the river. Truck was loaded for the road trip - bajarack didn't see as much use as an average camping trip, allowing me to keep everything stacked low and still have enough room...

I drove to Dayton in a Sequoia. I realized how much I prefer my 4Runner. It really is the perfect size.

Got dirty in VT

Spending a few days at the relatives in Western VT. Not quite off-roading but plenty of dirt roads. Took some drives looking for camps for sale, went to the gun shop and got a new sight for the rifle my uncle just handed down, drove up to a slate mill and learned how they turn slate from rough boulder size pieces from the quarry to roof shingles. Target practice with a bow, now having a beer getting ready for a dinner with some vennison from last season. good day in the country.

If you're being anal retentive like me, every oil change (takes maybe 10 minutes total). If not, every 15k miles would suffice.

Needed to get out for a while after work today. Did some soft-roading up to Santiago Peak. That trail has gotten a lot worse since the last time I was on it. Took the short way up the front via Maple Spring Road.
