What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Did you just put stock size AT3's on, and nothing else? It almost looks like you put spacers on as well. Those AT3s really fill up the wheel well.....well. The stock duelers look like bicycle tires in comparison.

Just stock size AT3s, nothing else. No spacers, no nothing.

Though in the interests of full disclosure I might add that the Duelers were shot with considerably longer focal length than the AT3s and that affects the way they look. On the other hand the AT3 tread is really, actually wider.

Kind of like movie magic to make people look skinnier, lol.

Looks great though, it's amazing what a little bit square-er shoulder blocks can do to a tire visually. Makes it look like a whole size wider.

I measured my tires and the tread width is over 1" wider than stock tires, even though they are the same size. Cross sectional area is greater too.

Do you happen to recall what the width of the OE tire was? Now I am curious how much wider the DTs are, let me run out real quick and measure, while you try to remember what your OE width, lol.

EDIT: Never mind, I forgot I still had my dunlops sitting around...dunlops ~7.75" vs duratracs ~8.75", so pretty much about the same as what you measured

yea i got hung up on that rock.. but i can't complain.. it was a black trail and i knew that that would probably happen at some point.. we used a high-lift to get the rear off the ground and a ratcheting cable to swing the rear to the left juts before that shot to get my rear away from a tree that i was attracted to apparently.

What did you use to do it? Ive been thinking about doing mine with plastidip until I can figure out what rack I want up there. I really want the drabbits rack but don't have the cash right now for one.

Plasti dipped it, it wasn't too bad, but if you put the cross bars in, you have to be very careful not to scuff up the finish.
