Took less then 30 minutes to put on passenger side,, and about 3 hours for drivers side,, and ya I chopped the gussets right outta there, had to use a cut off wheel! But done now and it looks sick!

Looks great!! Which brand of sliders would that be?

Camping and Surfing

Spent the weekend camping and surfing. Snagged some amazing sunset photos. I'm still waiting on Frontrunner outfitters to deliver my RTT. It will def. make camping on the beach easier.

Allpro sliders,, I was so happy to finally finish,, never checked the door clearance! So when we left the in laws and wide went to open the back drivers door to put our 1 month old son in! The freaking bottom of the door hit!

Were you planning to over spray by a mile or did you just have too much extra drop cloth left over and felt like masking off the ENTIRE side of the truck to spray only the door handles? :caked:

LOL, we all take precautions! I actually had two plastic covers left over from a recent house painting expedition. Additionally the wind was kicking up due to nearby tornados and I was concerned that those precious paint drops would fly everywhere.

LOL I thought the same! but hey plastic drop cloths are cheap, removing over spray or a nice flick from a can shake on the other hand ugh.

Hahaha yeah...I wouldn't take any chances on that nice white paint. I am only daring enough to free hand on my mag gray because well, I doubt you're really gonna notice over spray, lol.

Ouch!.. that's not good! Sounds like Allpro needs to correct their design. I hope they'll do something for you.

what are those white/silver looking trim things on the top edge of your door? I am talking about the two pieces that are right between the front and rear side windows.

It’s black reflective tape. I have it in the spot you noticed and the black plastic that borders the rear window. One more added safety measure. I have been in a few accidents in my day, so increasing the night-presence was my goal. It blends in well as you really have to get up close to realize it’s there. If I had not used a flash, it would not have shown up.

Shrockworks TE Trim & Custom Sliders

Received them early last week and had my buddy put them on over the weekend (was told he needed do some drilling to put them on). Love the craftsmanship/quality. Wife and mom love how they actually have something to step on to get on/off the truck. Looking forward to test them out on the trails.
