Danny, my wife wants to know if she needs to come out and help you install those sliders. She installed my BB sliders with the KDSS crap in the way, so XREAS should be no sweat for her. :lmao:

But on a serious note, I think it would be in your favor to run down the gas tank as much as possible before you try to do the driver's side slider since I believe those Shrockworks sliders require you to unstrap the gas tank.

I actually did it Wed. night but have not had a minute to my self with the family dinners. You know the drill, one day with your family and one day with the wife's family.

They came out real nice.. I actually did take install pics to save the next LE owner some headache.

I actually filled up the truck to kill time waiting for my buddy to get home. Ya - that was a bad call, who knew :/

There was no way in hell my buddy and I would've figured it out if it wasn't for [MENTION=55815]Okki[/MENTION] walking us through most of the install .. Give that guy a beer! :cheers:

I don't mind at all! Just make sure the measurements is what you want. They measure 5" from the door jam to the second tube... I thought that would be too much, but another inch would've totally worked, if you want.
The rear dimple plate I had them push up another inch for more leverage as a step.

I purchased them in August and they got to me this past Monday. About 3 months. I knew they would not be working on them until October anyway.
Worth they wait!

I'm going to reinforce it to the child seat bar today. I want the weight distributed to the bar and not the plastic seat although it is pretty Sturdy. My next order of business if I can make it sturdy enough is to add a water one on the other side.

I definitely don't want it sticking out past anything else on the truck

Ya know, it would be the snakes rattle to have a quick release on the roto-mount to the kiddie seat latch. You could take the roto-mount off when you had the seats flat! Hmmmm.... I am going to let that digest for a while

I like that idea a lot. If the rear is full gear/shit you just pop the seat forward and you have access to it too. I like it better than trying to hard mounting something similar to the walls inside. I have a slide out tray in the back (speaking of which why doesn't it have its own tie-down points?) and that space is somewhat wasted because of it. That is a pretty good solution to utilize it.
