Mt. Rainier
Drove up Sunday to Paradise at Mt. Rainier National Park. Clouds covered the summit but still amazing views below. Only was able to hike for 2.5 hours since we arrived later than I had hoped. See the T4R alone as we were one of the last few cars out. Paradise is nearly 3 hours away from Seattle if you have some traffic.

Which hike is that to the falls (and which falls)? We've lived there 3 years and haven't been able to make a trip to paradise yet. My in laws went when they visited to the Paradise Inn and brought back the most delicious Dungeness crab Mac and cheese.

We took Skyline Trail which takes you to Myrtle Falls in .5 miles and then continue another mile to Sluiskin Falls. We almost made it to Panorama Point but had to turn back. The food at the Inn I'm sure is great, the food at the visitor center, marginal and overpriced. But that's to be expected when it's the only show in town at 5,420'.

What I Did This Weekend
Spent three days in the Inyos (East of Big Pine, CA) 4 wheeling and camping. Great trails to run off highway 168 and Death Valley Road,and almost no-one around. Great place for So. Cal. and Central Cal. T4R to go and play!

I do LOVE this state and it's National and State Parks. Second to none in my humble opinion. I haven't been up to Paradise in a few years, might have to trek down that way here in the next few weeks. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

And so he returns… Long time man. I'll let you know, and if we don't get a group thing, we can hit something up near us. Walker Valley ORV isn't too far from us.
Nope im not havent lifted it yet. But may be interested in going out there and checking out depending on the date.

Well it didn't happen today. But a few days ago I recieved my Shrockworks bumper and got it installed the next day. Couldn't be happier with it and was worth the long wait!
what did you think of the way the filler pieces fit?

I actually think the filler peices look pretty cool. But they could have been designed different/better. Especially with all the flexing the heavy bumper is going to be doing during off roading, I hope the headlights don't end up getting cracked.
I adjusted the driver side a few times (passenger side is fine) and finally removed it and grinded down the bumper on the inside where contact was being made (filler peice and bumper) and it is a lot better now and more room for adjusting.
It seems the instructions are for 10-13 models which have a different grill. I still need to drill holes to mount the lower portion of the stock grill. What did you do with that?

Definitely. I won't be around till thanksgiving week. Met Jim and nosamk and gringo last year at a little coffee get together we did in Bellevue (back then me and gringo were still stock heigh, I just joined the lifted club a week ago 2.5 years into owning it). I might have time for that when I'm home thanksgiving week but that's about it. Working too much to get home enough.
