Running Board delete on SR5
I removed the stock running boards from my '13 SR5. I found these to be a very poor design, rendering them fairly useless except for holding dirt/sand/snow, while allowing my foot to slip off way too often. It's an accessory that I wish I wouldn't have spent money on.

I removed them so I can add N-fab nerf step bars, which just arrived today! I'm adding them via direct mount to keep them up close to the body, so will be trimming the rocker panels tomorrow, if the weather holds up.

Found this stick stuck under 4R today......haha.
So we took her down some trails the last time we went up North to Camp Verde, Clear Creek and through the forest on the rim on the way to Payson.....that was about 3 weeks ago. Ever since then I heard a sorta random rattle once in awhile, did not pay much attention to it. Finally looked for rattle and this stick is lodged by the exhaust up underneath. Just used the tire foam can for scale of size. Good thing I did not take it to the dealer to have rattle checked out.......that would be embarrassing. :loco:

When was this? I don't think most people venture out of their generation thread; or maybe it's just me.
I know when the last one was put together and we bet in Bellevue, it was posted in the 5th gen section as a FYI with the link to the "T4R Meet Announcements" thread. Or maybe all the people from the area that he/we knew were just "mentioned" we all got a notification and found the forum that way.

Went to get my front wheels road forced balanced today. Come to find out something rolling around inside the tire. When they unscrewed the nut holding the wheel sensor valve, the valve fell inside the wheel. Result,broken wheel sensor. Don't know how it could have broke,but it did. Have to purchase a new one.

N-fab nerf step bars install on SR5
Installed the N-fabs today on my '13 SR5. I direct mounted without the use of spacers, so had to cut the rocker panels. It all went very smoothly, thanks to [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] and his previous mod write-up. The only differences I found were that I had one less 10mm screw at the wheel well to undo on each side, and my brackets had 12mm screws (instead of 13mm) under the door sills on each side. The only difference in my process from Antman's was that I used green tape to mark the cut line instead of blue.
Really happy with the smoothness of the process, and with the look and functionality of the N-fabs.

Looks good, one of my favorite mods. I got off easy, my rockers were pre cut. Good color choice too.

More like 9 months. I guess I'll send in my old ones to get serviced and have them send me their shock boot, as the shin guard is not enough.
