We need less people like you on this earth. I've personally been in three hit and run's on a bike. I went to the ER for two of them. I'm also hugely passionate about cyclists and bicycles, I own a bike shop. Here's a big **** YOU! Yes I know this is the open forum but I have zero tolerance for humans such as yourself.

I've always though Cali was cute. Try that around here and you would get a baseball bat to the face as a sign of mutual respect.
Your timing and context seems ill advised, however, I'm going to take this in a different direction.
I would love to see more bikers off the road - and in designated bike paths that aren't shared with motor vehicles at all. I ride motorcycles (dual sport - pavement is just there to get new to the dirt), and I cycle with my toddler in a trailer behind me. She loves it, and it's a way to get us out into the great outdoors.
However, since riding with cars feels about as safe as jogging with buffalo, I will ride anywhere I can other than that silly bike lane that is shared with busses, right turners, and cell phoners - coming up behind you. Whose bright idea was this?
If I have to be on the road in traffic, I'll ride on the other side if possible, facing oncoming traffic. I KNOW I'll see them, and have little faith that they'll see me either way, so at least I can do something about it if someone decides to multitask. I also ride on sidewalks if they're around.
So yes, let's have more cyclists off the road, and given their own safe space to ride on. My home town is rated 2nd or 3rd in the country for cycling. We sure could do for fewer bike accident announcements, though.
We digress.. so in the hopes of drifting back on topic, I washed my Trail today. Several times, actually.

Considering the amount of clueless drivers, texting drivers, drunk drivers, reading drivers, aggro drivers, while you may have been joking (or not, I do not know) a comment like that is pretty much uncalled for.
It is tough enough being a bike commuter, for whatever reason, try it sometime and you may think twice before saying something like that

Lets all be friends! I really doubt @ Mooney had any ill intentions with his comment. Not the best timed but I have seen far worse on this forum that goes uncommented on. I have seen just as many inconsiderate bikers (motor and not) as I have drivers. Granted the bikers are going to loose which is why I agree with the above comment, jogging with buffalo! That said I have not seen a cyclist while I was turning left and almost cut them off, thankfully they remained in control but had a few choice words for me. However I was not texting, talking, etc I simply failed to see them when I looked.........if that person had stopped and intentionally damaged my vehicle it could have ended differently. So please before you go damaging cars show some maturity and give people the benefit of the doubt that we are not perfect and do make mistakes. Not sure where any one has the right to damage property because something almost happened (and whens something does happen we have laws for a reason)

That looks like three photos trimmed into one, its the same set of people in each photo

It IS a panorama photo. We used the iPhone 5S on Pano setting.
I saw this trick done on some Facebook page, something like "tricks your phone can do" or "take photos like a pro with your iPhone".
My son and I started in the left hand side picture. My husband slowly panned to the right. As soon as we were out of the frame on the phone, my husband gave us a signal to move and he stopped moving the phone. We then ran around and in back of my husband then posed in the middle with 4Runner and my daughter. Then we did the same thing again to get us in the picture the third time. I did not think it would work, but it did. It was a lot of fun trying it and figuring it out.....
Imagine seeing us running around him over and over for apparently no reason....haha. It took us a few tries. But at the hill and the dunes, we surely did not stand out with all the action around us.

Ever seen the pano shot trick where once you pass the people with the camera they can then run behind you and you can then capture them again and again each time you pass them? It's pretty slick.

Guys I can't apologize enough . . . this statement was inappropriate, uncalled for, insensitive, moronic, and devoid of any common sense.
Regardless of whether your a biker, hurting someone or jesting about the possibility a person being injured is not an issue to joke about. I knew better!
Frankly I had completely forgotten I made the comment and was surprised and ashamed I wrote it . . . my brain was obviously checked out.
I can't apologize enough, living in a community of outdoor enthusiasts this statement doesn't follow my beliefs nor my love for those trying to take it all in safely.
In the future I'll work harder to get the brain cells working before the fingers start tapping.

Ha! I took Photography in High School... Cant wait to explain to my 7 year old son how there was film in your camera and you had to develope it and not just post it to Facebook. :wacko:

As someone who has personally claimed 2 mirrors, I thought it was funny. Some of these guys need to grow thicker skin.
went to the dealer after ordering the new mirror, and they told me when I ordered it yesterday that it will be there this morning so I scheduled an appointment.......
after taking the day off, and dropping off the car, they called me to tell me they dont have the part yet............. :fish:
what a waste of time.... now i have to wait for the part to arrive and take another day off and go back.... no free loaner cars and no free car washes to boot.
