Thanks! I don't get the big expensive rims thing. These guys complement the look of the car very well. So much so that the lady wanted her own very quickly when she saw mine. (Twin t4rs)
They're super easy to find on Craigslist, just get the lugs with them if you can.

I never understood the expensive aftermarket rims either. Maybe for better offset or lower weight, but OEM wheels just look so much better to me that its not even an option. No hate to anyone who has them though, to each their own.
You need new lugs with them? That's good to know. I almost picked up a set off craigslist yesterday.

Got some daylight:
Made two brackets (totally stole the idea from Desert Dawg :banana: ):
Fit daylight to the brackets:
Prepped the 4R by finding the center and offsetting the outer light at 16.5":
Ran the wires thru the firewall:
Clean wiring to the battery:
The OTRATTW switches look great and fit perfect after a little trimming:
All done:
A few decals:

Went out to watch a buddy do some ice racing out on Ghost Lake up here in Alberta. Not gonna lie, my heart was beating a little being out on the lake lol.
Unfortunately because the warmth the roads were mucky so please don't pay too much attention to the dirt!

what did i do today in my trail
i picked up my freshly mounted race tires for my evo all four fit snug in the back area. then did the complete led interior light conversion, H9 low beam mod, rain guards, all weather mats were swapped in from the oem mats, rear cargo cover put in along with the envelope and cargo net...soon all weather rear mat...too bad the slider doesn't work in the trail or am i wrong...oh i filled it up and calculated 16.9 mpg so far. I haven't cracked 1000 miles yet. a lot done in one day i suppose.

Was it hard to do all that with the tires in there? I mean, I think I would have done all the interior stuff before I put the tires in there....... :behindsofa:

Hood grayout !
So I've come to really believe this is a must at least out n the desert , did this on the 05 but it was the blackout from crawlorado it's ok . But I wanted something different on the Mag ! Ordered a 5'x5' piece from ebay , unfortunately we wasted some because guy screwed up with the squeegy & we needed to rearrange it . Question for the panel can you re-apply the wrap over the old wrap ? Will think about doing it n black but think it's ok with the gray ? :usa2: You can see how the sun just stops at the 3m wrap no glare . If we hadn't f-up was doing whole hood .

Color matched handles
Super excited to start getting rid of some of the SR5 chrome. Swapped out the chrome door handles w/ color matched ones, got rid of SR5 badges as well. Like how it turned out. Next will be the decision to go Plasti-dip or vinyl wrap on some of the other chrome bits.

How bad they ding on handles if I might ask ? Gonna try to wrap mine , a must is heat gun !
For the parts shown above and shipping was $194.34. I used ToyotaPartSales.com. I think it made a night and day difference. I've talked to a few shops about the wrapping and the part they are the most concerned about wrapping is the back 4Runner logo, mostly concerned about it peeling off over time. At this point I'm leaning towards Plasti-dip.
