Well it's been a week since we picked it up and so far have added Husky Weatherbeaters, a receiver shackle with D ring, clay bar and waxed it. Now just ordered a set of 275/70/17 Cooper St Maxx to put on the stock Trail wheels. Tires should arrive in 3-5 days. Oh and sylvania zXe low beam bulbs. So it's been a good week.

Entune Update / Sticker Removal

Downloaded/installed the Entune update lol.

Oh, and I removed the T4R.org stickers, as it was just too much (tacky) having them near the side badges. I will be ordering more to put on a different area of rear side windows, likely the rear portion of those windows.

I will be loading up the guns/ammo :ak472: and fishing gear :fishing: after work and driving out to my parents house tonight, as they have 450 acres and 6 stock tanks. It's raining pretty hard here in Austin/central Texas, so I will finally get to hit up my trails again! This will be my first time back there since lifting and adding skid plate & Nfabs, so I will be taking some pics of the mess I make :guitar3:

Thanks! I had my stickers slanted on the same window as yours, only right next to the side badges. The location I am planning to place the new ones is the exact spot you have yours!

Actually that pic was before they were ever put on... My buddy at the dealer sent me that pic as they were prepping it for delivery.

I'll second that plastadip fun... Brother in law was doing is emblems on his chargers so I decided to do the front and back in my 4Runner

Did some spring cleaning. Prepping for the new stereo. This was the cleanest of the doors, the only one that didn't require a scrapper to get the mud out. (I really despise the previous owner for mudding in this thing :bash::bash::redbrick:

(I have spent many hours with a pressure washer removing mud out of the frame and exhaust and tranny and transfer case and anywhere possible that could store mud for months and months)

Replaced the interior bulbs with LEDs. Also swapped out the reverse and license plate lights.

Took mine into the shop for maintenance items for the first time since I've owned it yesterday. 30k miles in almost exactly one year.

Lucky enough to have High-Tech close by so had them due an oil change, diff fluid front & back, t-case fluid, tire rotation, and overall inspection of the vehicle. Which I'm happy to report not a single other problem was found.

Other than when having bumper and Coilovers, installed the trucks never been in the shop. All maintenance done myself but been short on time lately and trust High-Tech and feel I probably saved myself some $$$ over going to the dealer.

Hopefully my yearly will go down this year but best vehicle I've owned so far. Not a single problem. Only very minor issue.... I have the random brake pedal "clicking" but I don't consider that I real problem and know I'd get the canned "cannot duplicate issue" statement if I take it into Toyota.

Anyway, that was my 4Runner day. Hopefully next post here it's to talk about some new 285's!

Well I work for a unique company that will only wear a suite and tie during events (Basketball, Football, Baseball, Hockey, etc.) .. which can be as much as 3-4 times a week or 3-4 times a month. Any other time, my go to is a polo and khakis!
