What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I finally did the H11 to H9 bulb conversion. The prep and install were beyond easy. I only used a pair of wire snips.

Edit: I finally had a chance to drive at night. It's been staying light out so late it's been difficult, and so long since I changed out the bulbs, all I can say is that they're brighter than I remember.

Well Ive owned my 4runner for just over a month now.
I tinted windows, and painted all the nasty chrome black.

But, today I ordered a Toytec Boss 2.5 lift kit.
So thats kind of doing something.

Cant wait to get this thing lifted up.

Finally installed the switch for the volt meter, and got around to patching the awning cover and actually deploying it for the first time. Was a lot heavier than expected. But at just over 8' it's a nice amount of shade.

Put in some major wrench time today. Broken 3rd row seatbelt holder (thanks to the Grandparents) had to be replaced. Couldn't stand the sound of the belt rattle on the plastic.

Yep. Most people don't realize what those holders are for and especially what the extra slot is for. :thumb:

Yup, had it 5 years, 80k miles and had no clue. Literally walked out to garage to see if I had them... Course mine must not rattle.

This is the answer to the question, 'Do rims and tires fit in the back of the 4runner?' Cooper AT3 265/70/17 and !7 inch Trail Rims. I'm taking them to be mounted tomorrow.

install the UCAs and raise the front after work, also corrected my gangster lean with a toytec 1/4" plate.
I was so glad I didn't have to bend the inner wheel well sheet metals.

Ordered my Trail/TRD Pro hood today... Now just need to figure out the best place to paint it. The hood and scoop components were the same price as the TRD grill and garnish. Can't wait for the glare!
