Very nice! Add some shade up there and you'll be all set.
My hammock skills (or lack thereof) would make that a risky situation for me.

More of a what did I do this weekend like usual
Was planning to go to Laurel Lake this weekend but ended up being a bust couldn't get my over night permit so last minute. Oh well maybe next weekend.
Spent Saturday fabbing up a stand for my 2/3 silhouette target and new mounts for my light bar. After snapping a bracket when a bolt fell out. Sad thing is it takes me longer to get the stupid bumper off then it does to make the brackets. Maybe 10 minutes after I finished it started dumping rain lightning and flash floods in my area.
Sunday we woke up early and headed out to last chance canyon get to Randsburg road off the 14 and the road is closed. So figuring we can catch the trail and nobody will know, well a mile up the road we get stopped by johnny law. He was cool about everything told us to go thru the north entrance and by the time we get thru last chance the road will be cleared. On the way out he stopped 2 more jeeps and a FJ.
Did the normal aired down blasted our way to the talc mine's then Bickle camp for lunch. Buddy brought his drone got some chase video of the 4runner in the sand washes. Then we got some chase video of his jeep until he crashed his drone into the Heep, he dropped in a little to low and fast clipped the rear tire smashed into the passenger door and ended up tumbling down the sand wash. Surprisingly everything still works minus one motor, its his beater DJI phantom so we got a good laugh about it he blames it on the controls being opposite from his race drone lol
The whole plan for the day was to hit last chance so since we couldn't go up we went down it. The area must of gotten hit hard with rain because we recently were up there on our dual sports and I don't remember this many rocks. The bypass around the v notch was washed out so we had to drop down off the bypass trail into the wash and back up the side on to the bypass. Which was sketch but we got it done the rest was extremely slow going my skids and sliders got a good beating and I'm glad I took the time and built the sliders. They are holding up great even with me trying to break them. Ended up making it out 2 hours later Randsburg road was open and from the looks of it they had a mud slide or something from last chance, because they had two big front loaders on the side of the road and the road was covered in dirt and that would explain why the canyon was so rocky.
Had the day off yesterday woke up early went shooting, came home washed the 4runner, cleaned out my garage, cleaned my guns and finally able to park my truck in the garage.
Long and drawn out post and nobody prob cares, but for once actually took out my camera.

Let my girlfriend drive so I can hang out my buddies jeep and shoot some pics

Survived Irma! Used the 4runner to barricade the front door of my house and she took it like a champ! I will treat her with a snorkel this weekend!

Changed my rear differential fluid
The extra loop I left when I ran the breather tube gave it enough slack to rub against something hot. I smelled it one day while wheeling, but forgot to check until last week. Did I mention that when it comes to wrenching, I'm an idiot?
I paid to have it done, about $100, plus they fixed my breather tube.

Good to hear, we only lost power overnight. Thank God it sucked that dry air in before coming ashore. With all the rising water threats lately the snorkel is becoming more attractive. Drilling the fender is still a little scary and I wish it didn't say SAFARI in such huge letters.

Cleaned the crap out of it, and made an aluminum "false bottom" for the center console. Now I can hide stuff from the wife...

Hi everyone,
Long story short, IM BACK! I put a deposit down on a 2016 Trail Edition today, and trading in my 2013 Sequoia. Basically because my commute got a bunch longer, but I need something for the rough New England winters, and handle the tasks of a landlord.
I was a member of the board for a few years, with my 2003 and 2008 4Runners with builds, mods and coming here for help. I'm happy to be returning. Ive missed this place.
