Why disable the DRL? They don't bother me but the switch is 4 position. All off, DRL, parking light, headlight.

I havn't disabled my DRL either even they are not legal in Poland (two front blinkers being on as a DLR is plain stupid). I have replaced my fog lights with Osram LED-FOG-DLR which are acting as EU legal DRL and fog lights. I just keep my stalk switch on "All off" at daytime (Osram DRL are on) and on "Headlight" at night (Osram DRL is off then). All road legal in Poland with minimal alteration.

installed BFG KO2 265/70/17 but I got a better deal from my buddy so I I had the 265 replaced with 275/70/17 no lifts. now my question is how does leveling kit affect handling of the car? anybody have a pic of 275/70/17 on a leveling kit?

If you have LED High Beams, you should disable the DRLs as the lower voltage will kill the bulb

Eah, its a matter of taste. I added two extra markers in the upper grill after I killed my DRLs. I'm happy with the look, but they're not for every one.

Finally! Had all of this installed yesterday. C4 sliders & SSO bumper/winch (rhino lined). OME coils & 5100 all the way around. RCI alum full skids plus tank skid. And FN countersteer type x wheels.

I witnessed the launch of Space X's "Falcon 9" rocket while in my 4Runner this evening! I had forgotten all about it, just got lucky and happened to catch sight of it right after liftoff while I was pulling in to the Von's parking lot in Clairemont Square. I saw the first stage separate, the upper stage engine ignite, etc. After separation, the booster's attitude jets creating a sort of "smoke ring" effect.

This all happened as I was finding a spot to park. As soon as I got stopped, I hopped out and tried to get some video and stills with my pocket cam. Unfortunately that camera has trouble focusing in the dark, so most of the images were useless. Here's the only half-way decent shot...

The crescent moon is in the upper left. Below it is the upper stage of the rocket. In the lower right, near the street light, is the booster rocket. At one point it was producing a long orange flame, presumably from the rockets firing to slow descent. At the time I thought they were going to land it on their floating landing platform but I read later that they didn't try to recover it this time.

I did not mean color, or orange front markers. I did mean re-using the same bulb for completely different purpose. Same thing with stop lights acting as rear blinkers in some American cars. It feels so cheap - like manufacturer can't afford to put a separate lamp.

BTW in 14+ models headlights acting as DRL are stupid as well. But it is just my personal opinion.

Ripped the rear bench seat out because it was creaking. Found out it was coming from the center bracket where it mounts to the floor, laid down a bed of electrical tape around the mounting holes and got rid of the noise. Ridiculous for a vehicle that has less than 15k on it...

Today I spent a few hours in the garage.

-Winter wheels/tires went on.
-Front diff fluid change.
-Center diff fluid change.
-Rear diff fluid change.
-Sprak plugs.
-Oil and filter change.
-Tossed the AGM battery on the trickle charger.
-Greased all the fittings.
-Fluid checks, general checkover the winter, spare tire pressure and condition, and but the winter oh shit kit back in.

Hella Supertones are in. Straight forward install. Just made up individual ground wires and pushed factory plugs on. Done.
