I realized that a lot of the solutions available just don't really work for how I use the back of my truck. I've spent the last few days figuring out SketchUp and refining measurements and construction. I've got a little bit more tinkering to do but It's getting close. Should be around 30lbs without gear.

Weathertechs...front and back...
Very impressed with these already. they roll out as if they were a baby calf snuggling up to the mother to breast feed...they basically rolled out onto the floors themselves, almost directly into place. I dont think that i had to adjust them any more than 3 inches each to fit them perfectly into place. They seemed to WANT to fall where they needed to go.

Thanks, do you have any pics of it installed? Does it go on the inside of the intake?
okay so im gonna apologize because i didnt remove the intake for pics today. Maybe another days/months/years when I change my air filter. But the trd intake photo should give you a good idea of what I did. The diameter of the TRD part is a perfect match for the OEM airbox. You just need to decide where you want to make your slot. All it took was a pair of scissors. Although i'm fairly sure this rubber piece aint going to slide off, i wrapped a ziptie around anyway just in case. REMEMBER dealers can order this part for 7-10 dollars and you can skip out on shipping.

You changed the oil on your deck platform? :shrug:Changed the oil (1st time on my new truck. Thanks Antman!) and made a poor-mans sleeping platform (the carpet is actually a lot darker than it looks in the pic).
But nice platform: simple, easy, & looks good!

I did the same thing 2 years ago. Gashed it right down to the bone... made the mistake of not getting stitches and it took 2 months to heal...
