Looks good. Can’t wait for my rims. Ordered my 285/70/17 KO2s just now as well!

Been lurking on here forever. Sold my 2003 stock 4runner and bought 2018. Just lifted it with Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners. 1.75" in front. Daystar 1.5" Spacer in back (I wanted a little rake and btw, many people say 1.75" bilstein setting should be 1 inch spacer. My guy tried both and told me that I would not have liked the 1 inch spacer. He went for the look i wanted). Put on Fuel Vector D601 18 Inch Wheels, +1 Offset, Toyo 275/65/R18s. They stick out just a little bit from the fender wall, exactly like i wanted. Went to a place called Cutten Customs in Houston where every person i know with trucks gets their work done. He did NOT have to use a hub ring because he said the 108mm wheel bore fit on the 106mm 4runne hub with no room for anything. He also showed me how he used Black Spline Conical ET (for Extra Thread) lugs which basically made it lug centric. The ride is ridiculously smooth. Goes over pot holes in a glide instead of a thump. And makes it look aggressive. Here are two pics:

Got my Orange box fab modular storage panels. Couldn't resist the 25% off so I bought them a week ago and picked them up today and they installed it for free! Took about 20 minutes for the install and it really is a nice product! Can't wait to hang some stuff on it! Love how I can choose to use the 3rd row seats belts if needed. Super easy to unscrew 1 screw on each side if ever needed.

I did a few maintenance projects to the 4Runner today. I replaced the engine and cabin air filters, and the windshield wipers, as well as, tackled the oil change. It wasn't that bad of a job. A few pairs of rubber gloves and a few shop towels made it a lot easier.
I bought the 4 runner used with 58k miles, and the previous owner used the local dealer for the maintenance. I had a hard time reinstalling the skid plate because majority of the bolts have been crossed threaded at one time, caked with rust, and two bolts were broken that held the plastic skid plate and metal skid plate together. I used anti-seize and a 1/2 drive to get the bolts back into place after starting it with a 3/8s drive.

I was thinking of replacing the stock skid plate bolts with stainless ones and retapping the nuts. Any suggestions?

Why did I have to see this!?!?!? Looking up that kit, I see that it is on sale for a heck of a deal. I really don't need to spend the money (kid due in less than a month), but have 60k+ on the 4Runner. I'm tempted to get these and just sit on them until I get closer to 100k.

Your saying that you got about 1" in the front, which means it should be relatively level on toyota quality parts. Has it settled any since you installed?

sorry for the late reply I was out of the country. I think it is settling fine. I am still driving it around. Have not gotten a chance to get an alignment yet but drive straight and l really like it.

Do a little more searching. Find the threads with proof. Guys taking oil samples, sending them in for analysis, and coming back with more metal floating in their oil than i'd like. For me, 5K is it, don't care what you do with your truck. Your oil can never be too clean and it's cheap peace of mind so why not? Another thing I find interesting is a bunch of people stating they found fine metal particles in their oil filter housing at their first 10K mile oil change. I changed my oil at 2K, 5K, and every 5K after that. Haven't found a single filing in my oil filter cap. Last oil change which was my 3rd oil change at 10K miles, I installed a magnetic drain pan plug. We'll see what that looks like at the 15K mile oil change.
