My condolences for having to deal with the overpopulation/traffic of Seattle, on a daily basis. I lived there for a few years, as a kid, and it was NOTHING like it is now. Even 5 years ago, it wasn't this bad.

Meh, I love it. 100x better than Houston and Dallas where I lived before. Born and raised in Austin, so I understand the getting too big too fast but it's not a big deal. I live 3 miles from work so I commute by bike at least three days a week, year round. Almost every ecosystem possible within 4 hours. Cost of living is absurd but manageable even though the wife and I don't have dat Amazon salary, but it's not like it doesn't have its benefits.

But yeah, if I was commuting from the suburbs I'd kill myself. I did the suburb life for 5 years, commuted 120 miles a day for 3 of those years and it made my life miserable. My wife and I are both much happier now living in a small apartment in the urban area close to our jobs.

Tso grill and trd skid

Ordered the TSO grill and a TRD skid. I painted the skid white and the TRD logo black. I vinyl wrapped the TSO grill in white and painted the letters black. Scooped hood will be ready for install on Monday!

Yup, while going 55-60mph over a very mild single mountain pass in 3rd gear the pan temps stayed at 210 while it was only 75 outside and I was not towing anything. Also hit sustained pan temps of 200 just going up and down a few hills on a powerline road at 20mph a few weeks back when it was only 65. Around here, 110+ temps are common in the summer so this was a necessity IMO.

First Fill up since Delivery happened today... Not sure how I feel about it. But the first Ownership experience was the smaller tank of the 4R compared to the Range ROver I Traded in.. Im gonna miss the 500 mile Tank of the RR..

This is what to use.

Thanks, ya said nothing in the manual. Called icon and they are ok with any grease. I’ve bought synthetic similar to yours. There are a few people on the forum who use special grease so it had me a little worried that I was going to deteriorate my bushings prematurely. The icon guy was awesome and laughed at the thought of using specialized grease and said all they use is multi purpose and never have problems.

I was able to get a bracket fabed up for an ARB twin compressor. This stupid thing fought me the whole way. Ran out of every consumable I have, I broke my press break, broke a saw cutting an I-beam trying to fix my press, ran out of gas and mig wire and my welding helmet took a crap. I still managed to fake the funk and get it done. What a shit show. Good news is, I’ll be stocked up and ready to roll for the next project.
