I guess it’s not too shabby. I am going to remake this bracket... someday. The tab on the inboard side is a prevision to mount an air manifold for lockers, a chuck and a line for the rear tanks, which will most likely be the next project.

Picked up the truck from my buddy’s shop. Had him toss on the marker lights and the spot lights behind the grill. Marker lights r wired to the amber running lights and the spot lights r run to a switch

...not exactly today...but over the past week, I have attacked all the chrome...cos I HATE CHROME!...especially plastic-chrome....or plastic masquerading as chrome, to be more accurate....

...I didn't spend a lot of money on a TRD-OR to have it look like a soccer-mom SUV...so ALL that shiny stuff gotta go!


This is how it came from the factory way over on the other side of the big pond...

...decided the front-n-rear logos and valances were too damn bright...so got out the Plastidip:

Finally got around to installing the Fj Cruiser kit with a Toytec spring seat. Initially looked like 3"+ of lift, but now that it's settling after some drives its right at 2.25", perfectly level. Total install time was under 4 hours front and rear, and so far love the way it drives. Wheels and tires are next week.

Installed Bilstein 5100all around. Toytec coils in the front and toytec spacers in the rear for a all around 3in lift. Then went off-roading.
