What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

285, stock suspension, zero lift. Rubbed the inner lower edge of the front bumper skin at full lock in reverse. Lifted it 3" and still rubbed the exact same spot, had to trim it either way. I'm now on a 295 which I actually prefer over the 285 immensely.

Looks great! I was worried about the rubbing so I went with 275s. I figured they’d be more proportionate to my 2” lift. They do look great... but there seems like there is plenty of space for the 285s, at least with the AT3s.

I think if you buy them at normal price they are powder coated. I got these in the group buy and they are unfinished.

Awesome day with the family driving some mountain trails near Lake Tahoe and escaping the Texas heat!

Soda Springs road? I did that one a couple weeks back. Nice, mellow trail and lots of nice canyon vistas.

Yes, exactly. Fun drive. I was surprised to see that cabin community so far out there. Was good to finally get this thing out on a trail of any type. It was really cool that Forest Hill Road pops out behind my cousin's house in Auburn who I'm visiting.

The KO2 runs small on the 285 scale. The 295 Ridge Grappler was a huge upgrade IMO however the KO2 I think is a better tire in the rain.

Did my first oil change at 4200 miles. Would have waiting 800 more miles however in less than 2 weeks we are road tripping to Canada and 5K would happen on the way up.

Dropped drain plug into oil drain pan.... that sucked. Had to pour the oil into a bucket and catch the plug with a strainer. I was very surprised as the loose shavings I caught in the strainer.... very glad I changed that oil out!
