Ok so after your guys feed back about wiring I upgraded wire to 6 gauge from 10 also wiring loom first pic is from yesterday and second is from this morning after new wire let me know what I need to change or if it’s still ok

I'm running an 8 awg wire to my fridge. I can't remember what else you said you are running (air compressor, maybe?), but just make sure you give it the proper wire needed and fuse accordingly.

Thanks!!!! Yes fridge and compressor. I haven’t hooked up the 12v outlet that I’m going to put in back of truck for fridge. I was thinking of running a 10 awg from my fuse box to outlet. Do you think that would be good enough? Also the outlet I bought has a bolt meter do I need to run a different wire for the or can I split the wires and get juice of one wire for both 12v outlet and volt meter

Health Dept. stated breathing this throughout the day is equivalent to smoking 8 cigarettes. We are hopeful winds will shift and clear things out. Very cool am sun in the smoke however.

It could be the California fires as well.
Landing in Denver Monday, for the first time in years, I could not see the mountains (only few miles away). I was told the Cal fires are going up all the way to Canada and coming down on the eastern side of the mountains.

If you don't know anything about electrical then I would either get a pre-made kit or have it professionally installed. Electrical is the one thing that you want to have done properly. Not doing it right could be disasterous because you could short out a wire and cause a fire. The wire you're running from the main battery to the Blue Sea looks to be a 16 gauge wire. There is no way in hell you can carry enough amps to power an ARB compressor and fridge running off that thin of wire. An ARB compressor is rated at 25A. The dometic uses about 3A. Add more for any other accessories. A 16g wire can handle about 12 amps total. You do the math, it doesn't add up. Learn and it do it right or have it professionally done. Unless you want to cook the 4R, yourself, or your family.

Looks like a 10 gauge to me so about 30 amps tops like I said. I know electrical very well, been doing it for about 18 years. That's what prompted me to make the post to begin with, hopefully avoid a fire before it happens. Also looks like very low quality wire also due to those sharp bends staying in place like that. Any wire that stays in place when bent is junk. High strand count soft copper wire is the only thing I run.

That is night and day better. Good work. Honestly I think it's the right thing to do. Do it once and do it right, plus you now have room to expand your system for the future even if you don't think you'll need anything else for right now. 10g wire from the fuse block to the rear should be fine for the fridge. That is what the ARB fridge wiring kit uses I believe.

He was saying hitting all the major attractions that YSNP is known for in 1-2 days (Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, West Thumb, Etc.), not the entire stay in the park. It can be done, I hit most of the major attractions in 2 days and spent the remainder of my stay trying to get away from the crowds. Like I said, I stayed 5 days, yes its is a big park, and there is a lot of driving that can be delayed by the bison and other critters. Would I recommend hitting all the major attractions in 2 days? No, but I also had 12 other National Parks to hit in 6-7 weeks, so Yellowstone wasn't a priority over parks like Glacier & Zion. Everyone has different time commitments, places to see and things to do. I chose to get the most YSNP experience in the least amount of time due to the crowds!

OK, that makes sense. Go with @elarson 's suggestions for a good overall sense of the park. There's so much there it's worth more than one visit. As others have said, it's quite the tourist destination, so be prepared for some crowds. It seems Americans, and a whole lot of foreigners too, are loving our National Parks too much.

Welding cable supply places or if going with car audio brands I have always run Stinger OFC cables. I recently tried KnuKonceptz and was very pleased with their quality. Rockford also makes good quality wire.

Yeah. Since it’s still my daily driver, I had to settle for some AT tires instead of any 30” K2s... But with this mud, I’m not sure any tire would’ve helped.
