What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Not true, and not true.

Airbags deploying is not a direct correlation between being totalled.

Also, aftermarket parts absolutely can be covered by insurance.

....Not to be argumentative...but also not true.....

...the airbags deploying is what put my new 2018 over the line and it got totaled.....and altho aftermarket parts 'can' be covered...if they aren't listed before an accident on the policy, they won't be....and, as in my case, if they were custom designed and built...they won't be either....

...So I had to remove them...Either way...an accident SUCKS!...

Also not true. You guys are all making blanket statements but the TRUTH is all insurance companies will handle this differently. In my case with State Farm they covered all of my aftermarket adds, at least the ones I chose not to remove. ALL they asked for was receipts and they gave me the full price and labor that I paid.

Installed some yellow LED fog light bulbs and went camping the other night. Slept in the back on a twin air mattress with a few sleeping bags and I was comfy. I had my eno hammock setup (singlenest, underquilt, rain fly, bug net, etc) as well as my tent but it was getting down to like 24 degrees so I decided to just sleep in the truck, which was my first time doing so.

Been meaning to build a little sleeping platform to level out the hump when the seats are folded down but I didn't even notice with the air mattress blown up. Maybe it was all the whiskey

Same thing I'm thinking of for trout fishing - air mattress and sleeping bag. Good looking runner, but the flying WV makes it! Let's go....

Put in Weathertechs on Front, back, and cargo area. Great quality that I remember from my tundra. Disappointed in the cargo area though, should of done more research before ordering. I’m going to install Canvasback cargo liners so hopefully that will fill any gaps and also protect the rear seats when hauling my hunting/fishing gear.

Which yellow/amber LEDs did you go with in your fogs? How do you like them so far?

I think you got someone elses order lol

Well they're already on the car so...no takebacks. I even emailed them asking how they came so fast, but no response.

Looks great! I really like the clean, angled up, close to body design. I have a set in my garage exactly the same, 3 tube, in satin black that came in 3 weeks. Need to get them installed soon.

Yeah these are the cleanest looking ones available IMO. I'm slightly worried that the low profile design might mean less protection, but I'll find out soon. Have fun with the stick nuts!

No idea how, but my Shrockworks sliders arrived at my doorstep 5 days after I ordered them...

This has to be some kind of record. I was prepared for a 3-4 month wait

These are my favorite sliders. Can't afford them at the moment but the low-profile and simple style is imo the best looking out there. I don't have kids so I don't need a functional step. One day I'll order these bad boys.

Pro Conversion completed on the SR5P - blacked out the Toyota letters, snagged a silver valence from a local, modified it to fit then painted, and finally installed.

5100's (front at 1.75) and Cornfed 1" spacers installed. Measured before and after - added ~2" up front and ~1.5" in back. Will size up tires when it comes time; still plenty of meat on them.

HOw does this work when the seats fold down?
it attaches to the head rests, then a Velcro strip sticks to the carpet. comes off very easy. zero damage to the carpet so far. would need to remove it to fold down one seat.
the extra storage is great, actually holds quite a bit

Honestly, I have to say these probably won't be the best if you're looking to use them as a step. Since they're angled up and hug the body of the car, it's almost the same height as the lower door sill. So stepping on the sliders almost takes the same amount of effort as just stepping into the car.

Not to be a jacka$$ but did you even read his statement that you quoted? Probably why he said, and I quote, "I don't have kids so I don't need a functional step".

My fault, I misread it. Welp, hopefully that info is useful for someone else who does have kids

Sorry for the late post, been pretty inactive on here.. here’s what I’ve done to my cement 4Runner the past couple months: powder coated the skid plate to match the tires and installed the Prinsu 7/8 rack
