yea man...i got all the tools. I got a big ol channel pliers to remove it, the alien key to install it, and the jack to jack off (lol).
There are a few rear options out there, just none of them I would call cheap.
What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Pretty sure they are designed to bottom out against the stops. I can see the impressions on my LCAs on my completely stock TRD Pro.

Hey man, I was chasing a clunk around for a while, subtle over bumps at low speed. I replaced shocks figuring a leaking front was the culprit. Not so. While I was doing that I visually inspected the sway bar bushings, they looked great so wrote that off. what I found out was that one of the bushings was split, which you could not see unless removing it completely and inspecting. replacing that and the other three front bushing fixed my clunk. just throwing that out there, you probably already knew this. Clunk drove me up the wall, now solid again!
Installed my Power Distribution Module with the pre-wired Bussmann RTMR Module from Shrockworks and installed some Baja Designs S2 Sports for rear lighting.
Did you go with the Blue Sea ACR, if so which model did you pick?
Also, I've been going back and forth on swapping my Blue Sea fuse box with the Bussmann RTMR Module like yours. How do you like it and how difficult to install was it?

Pulled the trigger and upgraded the radio. Pioneer W8400NEX in the SCOSCHE dash kit painted to match.

I went with a Blue Sea Circuit Breaker - this one. The bracket is made for this one and it fits perfectly.
The Bussmann RTMR is really nice. I purchased the prewired one from Shrockworks so it is wired and ready to go. Super easy install, looks OEM, and makes adding accessories and switches a breeze. I used this Trail4Runner.com write-up as a guide.

So after two weeks...it already has surface rust from poor quality powdercoating. Wilco made it out like it wasn't their fault. Had to remove everything including my hitch and get lineX to help out. The rotopax mount and license plate mount going in for quality powdercoating. If anyone is considering a wilco tire hitch mount get it linex or repowdercoated immediately. Wilco can suck a D...hope they end up in Pelfreybilt's situation.
Upgrading my rear springs with the OME heavy, just ordered ditch lights. Everything should be installed by next weekend.

After doing the high clearance mod to my bumper a couple weeks ago the washer fluid tank was bothering me. I made a cover out of plastic which helped but then I decided it was time to relocate.
I found a universal tank made by Dorman (603-001) for $6 and then made some brackets out of some metal scraps I had in the garage. I drilled (2) 1-3/8's holes for the pumps. The hole for the rear pump is slightly higher than the front just like it is on the stock one. I hot glued the bottom hole shut and did a plug for good measure. I also used clear silicone around the pump grommet on both the tank and pump side. Turned out pretty good for less than $10.

alright i went and ordered all the front end bushings for kdss. My thump is over speed bumps and big dips, and its so loud that pedestrians can hear it and get startled.
I'm crossing my fingers that its the sway bars....

With your 3" spacer lift up front, did you install swaybar relocation brackets? If not, your swaybar is likely contacting the spring or shock body which will cause a nasty clunk.

I doubt it, it only started happening 15k miles after installing of my kings spacer lift, and after I added a ton of front armor to the front, causing the front to sag. Raising the vehicle back up to 3 inches actually helped a little bit. I love my adjustable spacer lift...lol. There is no visual evidence of rubbing at all on any of the suspension components. There is no vibration caused by the thunk being transmitted into the steering wheel or drivetrain. It's just freaking loud..it sounds like a bouncing basketball over speed bumps from outside the vehicle. So far I've ruled everything out but the following:
1. Kings lower shock mount bearings gone bad
2. LCA bushings gone bad
3. Sway bar bushings gone bad.
I'm going to start with the cheapest and move towards the most expensive. I'm praying its just the sway bar bushings.

Ya that's correct. I was referring to the shocks.
Mine had the exact same clunking, was the front swaybar bushings. Replaced them and theyvstarted going again 12,000kms later. Seems to be a common problem with the kdss 4runners. I diagnosed the crap outta my runner thinking ot couldnt be the seay bushings but for the $50 i decided to order the moog ones from rock auto and bam solved the problem.
