Installed this 100 watt Renogy solar panel.
Power is stored in a 300 watt rechargable battery pack. Running a fridge I picked up on Amazon. Actually everything came from Amazon.

A little after dark action on the 4Runner:
- applied a set of decals to the C pillars of the truck (its nick name is Ursa Major or "Big Bear")
- test fitted some Yakima traction board mounts, I think I'll go with these in favor of the Rhino rack mounts because these lay flat on the rack which means better clearance and airflow.
- started stripping the bed liner off my skid plate
If anyone asks what is my number one "oops I shouldn't have done that" modification having the skid plates bed linered is it. While the bed liner does give better protection against rock chips on the road it doesn't do squat when you're sliding the vehicle over a rock. Then it peels back like an orange. Also it's f'n heavy.
Therefore I am removing it from the bottom of the plates and will be painting them a pleasant shade of orange, specifically Allis-Chalmers orange tractor paint because reasons!
Then when it chips or scratches I'll just brush on some more to cover it up.
Finished my cargo divider net. It was alot more work than i thought (109 box stiches...) but turned out how i wanted. I made my own c pillar mounts so its more of an L shape than a straight line from the seat bracket to the rear hook.

Anyone else think wireless charging is impossibly great and that it's unfortunate our dinosaurs don't have this tech? Yeah, me too! So I did something about it...
I’ve been in the center console a bunch of times and noticed there’s about 1/4” of room on the bottom of the lowest cubby. More than enough space for a wireless coil pad. I found a three coil setup on Amazon and immediately took it apart:
A small notch in the web at the front of the cubby and it slipped right in:
A few pieces of 3M VHB and it was pretty securely anchored:
One dissected 12v USB port later:
And then a little hocus pocus:
And lé voila:
It doesn’t fast charge, but I have USBs all over the car if I need more power. It’s so nice to just drop the phone into the perfectly sized console and have wireless everything. I'll post a picture of it charging when I get home and can have a neighbor get a shot.
